It is funny how he used a baseball ejection technique instead of the football one. I would have tossed him too. I bet he is the guy the Bud Light commercial refers to.
Flag football is 10x harder to officiate as opposed to tackle--way too much of the whiney BS. I never seem to hear, "he's blocking me" or "he just did a 360" and my personal favorite from the QB, "that defender touched my arm" when I'm officiating a tackle game. Glad to see that the zebra sent the douchebag to the showers....

It's about making 300 split second decisions in 4 quarters or however many innings. You constantly have to deal with 50% of the crowd being pissed at you. Don't tell me ref's are gay. I seriously doubt you ever know the half of it.

A player or coach throwing our equipment in this fashion is cause for immediate ejection. In Flag, players often believe they have a sack when in reality, the play isn't even close, as is the case here. The QB releases the ball far before the flag is pulled. Good call, terrible reaction. Most IM programs preach sportsmanship, which is likely why the USC penalty was immediately called.

But I got to hand it to this ref...it was a very close call and he made the right one. Just freeze the video right when the ball is released. His flag isn't off yet. Good call.

if you play it frame by frame, you notice that after the qb threw it, the guy was pulling on the flag, but he hadnt ripped it off yet.
