@96318dakotaify If you go back to the 1930's, stacks were originally used on Gas pickups and tractors for farming, so that the fields would not catch on fire from the exhaust. When diesel was introduced to the market, the stacks were then used on diesel engines. So in reality diesels got the idea from Gasoline vehicles. Its a personal preference some people like em and some people don't.
@Gunnerotis Not all they was out. The muffler in the stacks have been cut down to only 5 inches long. The exhaust is more chunkier& gives a good "lugging" sound when I drive. Even better in traffic when I am slowly moveing forward. I did put a set of real locomotive horns on the truck. I will have a video up soon!
Sounds great! I always wondered what non-diesel stacks would sound like.

We purchased the stacks for the customer from MBRP. They are 6" and sell on the website for about $220 each.
We custom made the pipes to attach them but MBRP sells those as a kit also.

Very nice my friend, very nice my friend!! I have a 2008 silverado with dual 6inch aussies on mine. It has the 5.3 v-8 in it, and no muffler!

actually no. It is not as loud as you would think. I have a 2008 silverado with the 5.3 v-8 with dual 6inch aussie stacks, and it isnt that loud.
