  • I'm from Texas to there is a place in gilmer to do it Idk what part of Texas u r in

  • i wish we had legit downhill riding where i live. im from Texas and all we have is cross country riding.

  • wow

  • demo 9 best bike EVER,I road there this year it was sick:D

  • I'm considering buying a real mountain bike. Can anybody suggest a bike that can take the beating? I understand that not all "mountain bikes" are actually built for mountain biking. Is there a company/make/model that any cycling enthusiasts can recommend? Thanks!

  • @ManDudeYeah kona would be a good make if ur jus starting out

  • @DdavidJjames Thanks, brother.

  • This film is defiantly sped up.

  • @attitashman. You only make the mistake of going down holy schute when your not ready once.... Never again

  • Awesome editing.

  • smokin riding- now lets give biebs a go

  • its like the camra mode they have it set in im guessing

  • im thinking about getting into freeriding, so i have some questions. main one: why does it look like they're riding their brakes on the way down but they go so fast?

  • that would suck sooooo bad if someone left their shocks locked

  • @MrSnareplaya hapened to me once, i flew like a superman! Well but not on this trail..

  • that trail looks super slippery with all those roots

  • After a month of riding my new bike and wondering why the fork shocks were so stiff.... i realized that the guy at the shop locked up the reload and i was riding with like ~20mm.... Facepalm......

  • I go here almost every summer.I love it!

  • what gears do u ride in?

  • How do you guys afford $3,000+ bikes?

  • @artfan101 i know right

  • @artfan101 if you have a hobby that you enjoy you find the money. some people are into cars and some into electronics.

  • @artfan101 They have jobs..

  • @artfan101 check out ebay, I ride a cannondale f600( 2002) - you can pick these bikes up for around 500 to 900 - depends on how motivated the setter is. Huge gap in price but seriously - there is a big price range. There are new 29ers out there for under 1000 and they're probably better than my cannondale when it was new.

  • @artfan101 check pinkbike.com as well

  • Think you can ski these during the winter?

    Like holy chute

  • nice ;)

  • 0:29 is that someone sleding?????

  • @sambanks123 Its a Luge. Its like riding a skateboard down a metal slide.

  • sick.

  • is there a certain name for the kind of forks that come all the way up to the handlebars?

  • @octoberguitaru2 double crowned forks

  • @octoberguitaru2 freeride or downhill shocks most of the time

  • looks like something to do during the summer to pass the time until snows back

  • i went here im not amazing , im ok, but it was fun and challenging, recommended

  • nice

  • those guys have got some balls.

  • what no racks for the bikes???

  • the books on the table

  • good vid. you guys were cranking down some of that.

Waterhouse! So that's where he's been all this time.

  • I want to go-- when is closing day?

  • that looks very fun and a bit insane

  • They dont look any better when fast forwarded so dont bother mate

  • whats a good place mountain bike for a beginner???

  • I just got a mountain bike now hopin to hit the trails!!!

  • i like attitash but personally i'm a sunday river dude

  • Oh man this looks so fun.

  • is gay buttsex one of the tags? because 6 faggots gave this thumbs down.

  • thanks for responding, since then i have gone and it was a blast. I think im gunna look for a new bike though because my specialized epic is great for xc, but it does not have enough suspension travel for this type of riding

  • Is attitash a good mountain for a first time downhill riding experience?

I wanted to go with my friends because we have been riding a little over a year now but we have only done flat singletrack type riding.

We wanted to try DH but i dont want it to be too hard

    What do you think?

  • @Xtremesportguys603 Downhill isn't necessarily hard. I started on a DH trail and 'twas my first ever trail I rode on.

  • does iron horse make good mountain bikes? im not doing anything insane like this, just starting out, and theres an iron horse for sale at my local sports shop. its a $600 bike, clearance for 350, front and rear disk brakes, nice front fork, seems like a good deal...buying it pretty much no matter what. just wondering about them.

  • 1:32 how?

  • Are they riding FS or Hardtails? They all look like hardtails at first, but they definetly handle like FS bikes.

  • if you want a good hard-tail mountain bike get a Norco Katmandu its really good for about 540$

  • i love the slide there :)

  • That's scary looking.

  • You get a bike for 600'it will be at least half decent, even decent mate.

I have a kona caldera second hand for 300. And its half decent.

  • good biking but not the best camera

  • What Kind of Bikes are those?? Whats the name

  • @TokiiHopZ Bikes with great suspension! lol

  • just got a giant boulder se hard tail for 325. It holds up to a lot of crap.

  • @paperclipracer that was my first real mountain bike. Its super low end, but your right it does hold upcause i put mine through hell. Now in getting a 6' travel full suspention freeride bike.

  • lol

  • i kinda want an all purpose mtn bike decent not super high end not crapy for under about 600 is that do able? any suggestions? i like the way these bike look how much are these?

  • @ASTELECT the bikes the are riding are most def atleast $1800+. On of the guys is rdding a hartail. I thing its buy s company called banshee that has hartail made for ridding very hard. You could build a good freride hardtail for $800

  • @ASTELECT get a norco katmandu its about 540$ retail price its a hardtail and its awsome

  • looking for a bike for $200-300? Ummm, none. Go to Walmart and you can find a crappy one.

  • S/he's new, there's no real need for the attitude. Everyone's got to learn at some point... So chill dude and try to be helpful.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, especially when you are unfamiliar with the average price of gear and all you know of at $200 "mountain" bikes from target.

    So take it easy.

  • @tjprovo24 better to a find one used insted of walmart.

  • can anyone suggest a good mtn bike between $100-300.

  • unfortunately none exist, that cheap and it will just fall apart. You can get a decent hardtail for about $470 though, check out specialized, they are pretty good.

A better option would be to find a local bike shop and ask them in person.

  • @MorganFawnvern do u think diamondback response is a good enough bike for intermediate mtbiking. not as advanced as attitash.

  • @cricketer1 unfortunately I don't know much about bikes.. My base is limited to the bikes I've had some experience with like Gary Fox and Specialized.

Google mtbr, they are a great website with tons of user submitted reviews for particular bikes.

  • if u just want a mtn bike u can get a next bike, but it will break if it touches dirt

  • one of the best ive seen...great music!!!

  • you have to love mountain biking at Attitash, too bad the season is over.

    but now its skiing time

  • good job speeding up your film to make yourself look wicked good

  • would a helmet like the ones they are wearing at 1:03 be unessesary? for simple mountain bike trails

  • it depends how much your pushing yourself. I have switched to a full helmet because i have damaged my body so much from covering my face when I crash, so I just use a helmet that covers my face instead :D

  • lesson learned the fun way! haha

  • damn dude this is intense.. this place is in like New Hampshire or Maine right?

  • i'm looking for a good mountain bike for around two or three hundred dollars. any sugestions?

  • i actually ride custom bike but use shimano brand parts becouse yah they are crappy but becouse they are some lawsuite thing requires that if a shimano part breaks they have to replace it for free and i break stuff on my big all the time so i switched its cheaper

  • i was there last year b4 i got into mountain biking i am so mad i saw the bikers and i said it was lame but now i love it i hate myself

  • I'm pretty sure it's real-time, only the frames-per-second seem a little slow, so the mind tries to compensate.

Either way, these guys are traveling much faster than any of use would be.

  • Looks legit to me.

  • Cranked up a lil or not, awesome. I would love to see ski-lovers try the same path you all took. Yes this would be an over all choice between skiing and Off-Road skimming. "Skimming" is what friends and I called off road biking. i.e. Skimming the dirt. Awesome video.

  • Some people have mentioned this video being fast-forwarded. I can't comment on that but if it's in real time, big props because you guys are really ripping it up.

  • where is this?

  • How much is it for a full day, with rental bike and pads/helmet ect.....

  • audio vs visual is way off.

  • made me want to go ride.. nice video.

  • cool vid.... sound kinda off though...

  • i was here this wekkened!

  • British Columbia has a great MB scene.

  • nice video but it seems like when you guys were riding it seemed like it was fast forwarded just a little bit.

  • agree'd - definitely been cranked up a little

  • ive been here. it was freaking amazing i go there every august.

  • where is this place

  • Maine. No Vermont...fuck Im from NE and i forget lol but Ive rode here(snowboarding) but I really wanna do this

  • Excellent Video! I am a shooter/editor. What camera/lens setup did you use. What software did you edit with? Thanks! Awesome biking as well. I was watching this because I used to BMX and now want to Mountainbike. I'm looking into the Forge Sawback 5xx 19".

  • what name is of the second song od this video?

  • yeah, these dudes are serious...i wouldnt dare take my hardtail anywhere near that stuff, lol

  • Same I bust my ass on the smallest inclines with a trek. Im probably buyin a softail soon haha, rip this shit up im hopin!

Attitash is lucky to have that talent...

    Best regards,

    Thom
