all Chad Gray does is scream and sing hes cool but has very little vocal range.. JD can sing, yell, scat, scream, cry, and whisper in the creepiest way possible... but then again Chad writes lyrics more involved in the world and is more focused on other problems.. if you want wide vocal range... go w Korn, but if you want wide lyrical range go w Mudvayne... either way you cant go wrong they both kick ass

both korn and modvayne are incredible in my opinion. but both are different i like them both equally. they sound different and comparing them by music qualities is unfair because they sound different. ill admit alot of korns song sound alike but mudvaynes songs also sometimes sound alike. and korns songs arnt just about "life sucks" as segovia i find that they show you should be proud of who you are and mudvayne has very deep lyrics to they r both great lets just all enjoy the music.:)

I like both but personally prefer Korn. Everyone in Korn's original line up was innovative for their time. 7 string guitars specifically for low end chugging, unique vocals, slap bass that was actually at the front of their songs instead of blending into their background and drums that just sound different, i don't even know how Silveria does it. But they sounded amazing.

Not saying Mudvayne's bad or anything like that. They have a lot of good songs. Korn's songs just seem groovier to me.

It depends on what you are arguing on, for example in general Korn is more original, Has a completly unique vocalist, and has touched alot more people then Mudvayne has,.... however if you look at in terms of who is "more metal" i'd probably say Mudvayne cause they use alot more screaming and have solos in thier songs. Spag's drumming is 10 times better and more complex than David's.

Ryan's bass playing is far superior to Feildys.

Chuds vocal skills are ina league of their own compared to Jonathon Davis's.

If you compare Mudvaynes albums LD 50 and 'The End Of All Things To Come' with any Korn Album it reigns supreme.

I play Bass and I can tell you now that it only took me 2 months to learn Feildys tabs where as Ryans took me years to learn and perfect. As for David's drumming even I can do that on Drums and I dont play the drum that much.
