Our internet traffic is monitored (and will soon be recorded for 3 years if the gov get there way) our vehicle movements are recorded and monitored, we're constantly watched on CCTV, and you're not allowed to protest in groups larger than 3 people under recent laws. Anti-terror laws are being openly abused and this follows on the footsteps of lies that make people believe we're somehow under widespread attack from "terrorists."

Actually, after reading about the sprawling surveillance regime being set up in British cities(pieces JustcallmeSimon directed me to), I'd agree that paranoia is setting in. Ironically, at the same time the police and criminal justice system have been impotent as crime has increased terribly.

I would maintain, though, that the immigration and asylum policy over the past few decades has saddled Britain- including its loyal Muslim citizens- with a sharia hungry element it doesn't need.
