The illusion of society. This movie, whilst extreme brings up some very good points. Such as when you see the flashback of the real father sitting discussing the new teacher at the dinner table. The lesson that this movie teaches is that niggers will always be murderous criminals. They had an ending for this film where Derek goes back into the bathroom where his brother was killed and shaves his head, going back to being a WN Skinhead, but the Jews wouldn't let them use it.

This scene has so much meaning. The part with Derek and Danny as children running in the beach just shows that we are all born with pure hearts and souls... And though they may become tainted as we live life, like Derek, a sudden event pushes us to look back and think that maybe we were walking down the wrong path. The shower, the beach, the seagulls... all great allusions.

At the end of the day, you always have to face your conscience. However, where was Derek' s family and friends and/or the local community when his father died? No spiritual guidance, no help,no one to turn to. I know this because when my father died, I had just turned sixteen, my mother and brother were all alone, no help from the outside. I could have been intoxicated easily. It's pretty tough when you hear your mother crying in the kitchen on how she is going to pay the bills......

What really is pathetic is believing blacks are our equal. The illusion of society. This movie, whilst extreme brings up some very good points. Such as when you see the flashback of the real father sitting discussing the new teacher at the dinner table. Why should two black men over white men who may be better for the job, just so that nothing is seen as being biased or racist. It's pathetic, we're so caught up in being anti racist that it's almost racist to white people.

Such a great movie, I remember the first time I saw it I was like wow this is really good. No one has made a movie quite like this. Exceptional acting, great storytelling. Good message, I love this movie. It was so well made.

the reason why people get derailed so much in life is because it takes those moments to truly develop perspective and character, and from that to find out who you really are.
life is not studying, getting a well played job and calling your life a 'success' if that is all you experience in it.

The lesson that this movie teaches is that niggers will always be murderous criminals. They had an ending for this film where Derek goes back into the bathroom where his brother was killed and shaves his head, going back to being a WN Skinhead, but the Jews wouldn't let them use it.

makes me think of me and my little cousin playing on the beach.. and we went bowling alot too.. but as i got older i became busy and i didnt have time to do stuff with him and then I found out later day he hung himself cause he was bullied.. he hung himself in june of 2009 It just goes to show everyone.. you should make time for your little siblings or cousins.. cause one day they wont be there..

This scene has so much meaning. The part with Derek and Danny as children running in the beach just shows that we are all born with pure hearts and souls... And though they may become tainted as we live life, like Derek, a sudden event pushes us to look back and think that maybe we were walking down the wrong path. The shower, the beach, the seagulls... all great allusions.
