The reason why Lata is so great is that she is not only tremendously talented but also humble. Nobody in the subcontinent (i can't say about the world in general) has come anywhere near.

Host seems O.K, better than some i have see on Indian channels. He, however, does not seem to be knowledgeable and is asking the same routine question any novice would ask. He should have been better prepared if he was interviewing an icon.

i think the so called music directors and aspiring artists of today should watch this video and learn from it.... i agree that the new singers are good but they are nowhere near the likes of noor jehan and lata... back in those days they used to take their art seriously whereas now, it's all about money and glamour... kya samajhte hain yeh sab...
