Firstly, there's nothing wrong with doing a cover of a song as Lulu did with the Isley Brothers 'Shout'. It's another thing to copy someone else's work and claim it as your own as George Harrison found out when he copied The Chiffons 'He's So Fine' for 'My Sweet Lord'.

Secondly, she's obviously trying to do the '60's Girl Groups' thing, like Amy Winehouse, which is so popular now - and she's definitely listened to 'Out in the Streets' and The Shangs
