lol no offense but Kisame is better than Itachi, he outlives Itachi, has over three times his chakra, possesses the Samehada "An amazing weapon!" single handedly defeats two Jinchuuriki without any help "one of them Being the Killer Bee" and Bee is extremely powerful. The only thing that Itachi has going for him is his Sharingan which can be countered by not looking into his eyes or a reflection and Itachi is more intelligent "which is why Kisame follows his lead"
I meant overall, I didn't bring up if they fought each other because obviously itachi has a powerful genjutsu. Kisame is obviously more "powerful" than Itachi seeing as he's "physically" stronger, has a useful weapon, and "bigger" jutsu's with a "Larger" chakra pool. Itachi might be the better "ninja" per say.
Of course Itachi would beat him 1vs1 because of his genjutsu which is a bit overpowered and 99% of the characters on the show would die from it. I was tallying up Kisames abilities....

kinda... well, he is dead, but some people says he is still alive because of the last jutsu he finished right before dyeing.
The jutsu is hard to translate to English but what people say it means something like:
Torpedo/missil/great shar/ substitution jutsu lol.
Whatever that jutsu was before his head was cut off , we beleive and certantly hope he is alived because he is so cool.

omg Kisame is freaking awsome when i first seen him I loved him like he's just cool. I pray they dont kill him later in the series. He is the 2nd best akatsuki member aside from his partner Itachi

lol no offense but Kisame is better than Itachi, he outlives Itachi, has over three times his chakra, possesses the Samehada "An amazing weapon!" single handedly defeats two Jinchuuriki without any help "one of them Being the Killer Bee" and Bee is extremely powerful. The only thing that Itachi has going for him is his Sharingan which can be countered by not looking into his eyes or a reflection and Itachi is more intelligent "which is why Kisame follows his lead"

Kisame hasn't defeated Killer Bee yet, they are still fighting and I think Itachi is better and he also had a illness which weakned him.

I meant overall, I didn't bring up if they fought each other because obviously itachi has a powerful genjutsu. Kisame is obviously more "powerful" than Itachi seeing as he's "physically" stronger, has a useful weapon, and "bigger" jutsu's with a "Larger" chakra pool. Itachi might be the better "ninja" per say.
Of course Itachi would beat him 1vs1 because of his genjutsu which is a bit overpowered and 99% of the characters on the show would die from it. I was tallying up Kisames abilities....
