  • One of the best tweetup videos I've seen. Great audio. =)

  • sounds like a huge POPcorn machine.lol

I envy you, wish I could see it once...................

  • Ive heard from people who have seen multiple launches that this was the loudest they had heard. All the videos seem to back that up. Even from where we were, on the causeway, it was absolutely thunderous. Our bus driver told us that that was by far the loudest of his 13 launches. The conditions must have been perfect.

  • @philritter21 I was standing next to a contractor at the press site and he mentioned to me that this was also the brightest he's seen. That was what really surprised me the most was just how bright the plume was, almost hurt to watch it!

  • @LonSeidman Haha, That surprised me too. I watched probably 400,001 videos of launches in the days leading up to it, and I was caught totally off guard by the brightness. It was like looking at a bright flashlight from across a room.. even at 6 miles. Now... did you make any connections that can help me score press site passes for the last flight? :) :) haha

  • @philritter21 Definitely sign up for the NASA Tweetup launch event that's taking place for Endeavor's launch. They just announced it today, applications are open on Monday. Do a quick search on Google for NASA Tweetup. It's not letting me post the direct link for some reason.
