The funny thing about this that people don't realize, is that any hotel/convention center is going to go with the most financially beneficial option. If I'm on a hotel/convention center board of directors staff, and a bunch of strangers show up to protest a convention (furry or otherwise) that brings in over a million dollars in revenue split between our hotel and the businesses around it, then quite frankly, it's laughable.
