My friends wanted to kick his ass. Long story short ski patrol intervened and he and his kid went home early that day for going under a safety rope.

I have had middle aged men try and start this same stuff with me, and I am female (and a skier). I don't know what it is about some of these guys, it is like they come on a ski vacation and are on a mission to start fights with locals and pick on kids. The situations usually go one of the following two ways: (1) They suddenly realize how inappropriate their behavior is and shuffle off embarrassed or (2) escalate the ridiculous behavior because they can't back down. Sad.
As a father of 2 teenagers, I am absolutely proud of the young guy with the the light blue sweat pants and grey sweatshirts. He acted more like an adult than the adults. He said "he's the one who tried to settle it fighting" and he was right. He got knocked down and kept his cool more than anyone else, trying to talk it through and the older guy keep talking about kicking someone's ass. They never hurt his kid or knocked him down, so I don't see what the problem was.

I don't hate all skiers but it's guys like this who make me hate a lot of them because for some reason they think they they have the right to do whatever they want.I actually always try to keep a few skiers with me in case I get stuck on the flats, then I can borrow one of their poles ;D

I have had middle aged men try and start this same stuff with me, and I am female (and a skier). I don't know what it is about some of these guys, it is like they come on a ski vacation and are on a mission to start fights with locals and pick on kids. The situations usually go one of the following two ways: (1) They suddenly realize how inappropriate their behavior is and shuffle off embarrassed or (2) escalate the ridiculous behavior because they can't back down. Sad.

As a father of 2 teenagers, I am absolutely proud of the young guy with the the light blue sweat pants and grey sweatshirts. He acted more like an adult than the adults. He said "he's the one who tried to settle it fighting" and he was right. He got knocked down and kept his cool more than anyone else, trying to talk it through and the older guy keep talking about kicking someone's ass. They never hurt his kid or knocked him down, so I don't see what the problem was.
