The aerial is a 1969 Peter Pirsch model 41-E 100' tractor drawn "tiller". It was delivered with an enclosed cab, but it didn't take long for the members of the company to cut the entire roof off, making it a fully open cab. Originally came with a gas engine, and was repowered with a Detroit 6-71T diesel back in the early 70s, which you can hear has a ferocious roar. The rig has been in continuous service for 40 years with the Rescue H&L Co. #1 of the Haverstraw Fire Dept, radio ID "4-99"
