  • YAY! It's not going to be happening I got a message from them today.

  • What will happen to the tmobile prepaid customers???? Will ATT honor the current plans or will they get rid of the tmobile prepaid plans and introduce their own more expensive and less attractive plans? I was going to buy the 200 dollar Samsung Exhibit 2 and go prepaid with Tmobile tomorrow. Now I wouldn't touch them with a 100 foot cell tower.

  • @1:04 LOL i thought u said, your wife love's her vibrator

  • I am in total agreement with you on this matter. I just heard about the merger just a few days ago and have been reading about since. In my opinion I will cancel my contract with tmobile if they merge with att. I remember when they took over SBC and a lot of things changed and I cancelled once I started having problems with them. I don't want this merger to happen. Also it could lead to jobs being loss and in this economy we need jobs.

  • T Mobile has been loosing money for 5 years.... we all know what happens to companies that keep losing money

  • My family has been with tmobile for 13 years!

  • I totally agree. I'm from a rural area of Ohio and AT&T is our only option. Even with that we are not able to get service at our home, only in the surrounding areas. We have NO high speed internet options (not even satellite as our western border is a forest blocking signals). AT&T could have built out to our area and others like it for far less than what they are paying for T-Mobile. They are doing it this way to take competition, and I'm not convinced if it goes through I'll ever get service.

  • AT&T + T-mobile = higher rates and disasterous service for T-mobile users.

  • you just answered your own question you live in a city where T mobile works well and AT&T will use those towers that actually work in your city.

  • nice video dude i totally agree with everything you said i currently own a sidekick 4g ive been with tmobile for 10 years if the merger does happen im going to sprint i live in miami and every carrier down here has great signal great 3g and 4g speeds the only reason i dont want att is because they overcharge and customer service

  • T-Mobile does NOT cover much in the rural areas.. AT&T will only add some density to their coverage in some cities, but also add a LOT of users, until the spectrum and towers are fully integrated 1-2 yrs after the merger is approved. Maybe service get's better, If you want to know if this merger will help u, AT&T customers, travel to those areas that coverage is bad, with AT&T, use a Prepaid T-Mobile phone with u & see if it works better if not there is your answer! & vice versa.

  • Don't forget at&t was ma bell everybody should glad about it.

  • awesomee i hate it i still want t-mobile

  • I went through the Cingular "merger" more like take over. It was horrid. This whole thing is a rank idea. ATT could build a better network for what they are going to get outta T-Mobile. This is all about getting rid of competition. i know I sound jaded, but I also thought the Cingular thing would be good too. I was wrong. The first thing is calls dropped, next is crappy customer service, and finally is the low rate plan, until you go over because you will, and you can no longer afford a phone.

  • I guess its cool bout this merger it would make att beter in the south and make tmobile better in cali. There for a better network overall. I think pricing is going to go down because this big ass merger will force sprint to do their boost mibile 49.99 ulmt plans and att and verizon stay in it for maybe 59.99. There is going to be three big ass comoanies and all three are going to want the most customers so they will be extremly competitave.

  • Well i guess out in the is where att sucks and t-mobile thrives!!!! Out here in cali t-mobile sucks big ones i was with them because of there priceing well cheaper my ass there coverege sucks out here one maybe two bars if your lucky and we would always get.hit with ludacris unknown charges bill ened up beeing way to much there customer supp is not to brag about i font know this good cust supp u guys are all talking about. I pay way less for att never had a drop ed call in my life. Merger w/ me

  • agree with u i dont like the at&t buyout against t-mobile...i have sprint but its has unlimited plans but i dont like the fact that at&t trying to destroy a good company...

  • It's going to be one big nasty monopoly. At&T is already taking advantage of their monopoly status by reminding gsm phone users that they will have no where to run when the deal comes thru.AT&T is alrready going after people that tether their phones to their computers and threatening to place them on a $45 limited data tethering plan if they don't stop. Sprint-Nextel is the way to go,this was told to to me by a AT&T operator, where you get unlimited everything for one low price.

  • i know to i love t mobile as well they are really good and if you want help fill out the letter to send to the government plus tell all your friends to switch . its really funny back in the day the side kick was the i phone of its days. T mobile was the first to use android phones and look now they were the ones to step up and make new ideas no one else was there in the beginning so if the I phone carries so much weight look and see were google will be come one fight for t mobile

  • there is a public Knowledge has a website to send a letter to the President to stop this crazy mess vote

  • smart guy spread the word

  • ,,beware at&t!!!!!!!

  • I'm with you! I have only been with T-mobile. I remember in High School when T-mobile used to be Voice Stream!!! I **REALLY** hope this merger does not go through!!

  • This sucks...Put it this way Tmobile was known for the low rates, open flexibility, unlimited data and big android supporter. AT&T is the complete opposite..they block out so many applications and no unlimited data plan. Fuck this if this go through which it probably would im going to Verizon

  • I hate it, I like t-mobile

  • i'm with tmobile as well, have been for 4 years, love tmobile, haven't had any problems with their service so i don't want this deal to go through, at&t service is pretty crappy and their prices are too high and people say well you'll be able to get the iphone now, well i say the iphone is kinda useless to me without an unlimited data plan and i bet they'll be a hike in prices too if they merge, which isn't good either and will see if there's better coverage when all is said and done

  • AT&T already is/has deployed HSPA. they just don't have the devices. either way, this merger is a shit idea and the US GOVT is a joke if they approve the merger. so that means they prob will.... cause they are a joke.

  • @3goals4bonzai If I'm correct AT&T uses HSUPA not HSPA+, so different bands and not compatible... There is a FAQ from T-Mobile that admits your hardware (Phone) will be obsolete for 3g/4g when AT&T takes over... in a few years time though... And who won't change smart phones by then any ways? lol

  • @HBGadgetHacks - according to their website, AT&T at least claims to be using HSPA - "The AT&T 3G network uses HSPA/UMTS technology (High Speed Packet Access/Universal Mobile Telephone System)".

any way you slice it, this merger is a BAD precedent for all industry.

  • @3goals4bonzai Since everything to you is a joke I will take your comment as a joke.

  • Respond to this video... To the maker of this video; I respect your video even thought I don't agree with your views. People like you should continue to make videos because this makes for a healthy You Tube.

  • this can only be good for coverage point of view.

Att doesnt have the greatest coverage, but they are fast, I have no problem in Tucson AZ at all, and its 3x times faster than verizon's network.

Customer service wise, it all depends how to treat people.

I change phones every 5-6 months, and I have 5 lines on my personal account 12 on the business. I ve yet to pay a single activation fee or early upgrade fee, I got free micro cells for my home a business, its all on how you ask.

  • I totally Agree with you!!!! I have had tmobile for 11 years and I love them! I don't get dropped calls and the service is great,...can you hear me now?...GOOD! AT&T SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • aye buddy im with u 100 percent this is real bad i had At&t and dont ever plan on going back so i guess im go with sprint just like u at&t dont like to make deals n the cutomers service suck so bad damm no more unlimited plans at&t dont play that

  • At the sane time I dint like the fact that t mobile was bought by AT&T but at the sane time this might be a definite 100 percent chance that t mobile gets that gorgeous iPhone finally

  • @laura53859 Report are that for atleast the next 12-18 months they will be keeping the networks separate and in all honesty your probably looking at 3 years before they do away with t-mo... So still no iPhone on T-Mobile.

  • @laura53859 why would you want an iphone? Well, if you want a iphone, why don't you just go with at&t instead or Verizon and get the iphone? Hrm,,,,

  • @laura53859 iPhone is a fail.

  • @Zomb131 iphone is a fail? you got iphone and then you got shit that wants to mimic the iphone.

Sorry but the rest of the planet trying to be like the iphone.

All these companies out there competing with one single company and they are no where near the iphone status.

Dont get me started on the tacky plastic droids..

  • @neonsector droids aren't tacky, their nice phones, yeah the iphone is nice but if i wanted it so badly i would've switched to at&t or verizon for it but i don't think its worthy of the price on at&t's crappy service and i just don't want to be on verizon, plus, i can live without it, i got my ipod touch, its just like the iphone just doesn't make calls so thats good enough for me

  • @laura53859 You're completely wrong. If (God forbid) AT&T does acquire T-Mobile USA, then T-Mobile's gone. They may continue T-Mobile's service for a couple years, but it will be AT&T's call and AT&T's new service. Apple isn't going to provide a dead company with their iPhone, that's just dumb. If you want an iPhone, you'll have to sign a new contract with AT&T or Verizon. Period. :\

  • I agree! I DON'T want this to happen at all! My mom's been with T-mobile since 2001, me since 2009- I HOPE T-mobile rejects AT&T, I like T-mobile independent and running things on their own!
