I got mine for 79 bucks, the one with the flippy thing lol. I just get frustrated because on my computer, it doesn't convert the whole vid I recorded and for editing, aggg, I don't know what one will work, I'm more frustrated then having fun.

What're you talking about? Windows works great with .MP4 files, unless you were using Windows XP, which is 11 years old. Obviously it won't be compatible with .MP4 because the format didn't even exist at the time.

@LotVH it charges when u plug it into ur pc... the zoom is on the side next to the power button...be careful though because the zoom is terrible (watch some of my vids and youll see what i mean. lol)

Apple moved their computers to their own stores because it's better customer service one-on-one. Walmart and Office Depot, etc stores support sucks even for PCs. Before 2001 Macs were in regular retail stores. But started moving their products to their own stores after 2001. They had one store in 2001. Today 300+.

Thanks for the video. Converting video files stresses the CPU quite a lot. So, it will take a long time unless you upgrade your PC to a super CPU with tons of RAM. My PC takes a long time too but it's not the software's problem (mostly). It's just my PC that it's not super high-end. I hope this helps or gave you some insight into why encoding/transcoding video files takes such a long time. :P

No programs work with MP4 in windows? I would beg to differ. I think even Windows included Movie Maker supports it. Even if it does not, there are other editors that do and converters as well.

@northsider707 They have upgraded; only it isn't like the original very much. It's called the Bloggie Touch. I haven't used it, but I've seen it at Kmart. Main differences: no articulate lens, and it is all touch. It reminds me of a flip.

can you describe the recorde mode to me a bit more as far as ability to target the subject?

@northsider707 To be completely honest, it's annoying as all get out; but only when you're looking at yourself. When you're recording other people, it's fine, no real difference. When you're recording yourself, the screen is too dark and pretty much any angle to see anything.

I still like the articulate lens head feature on the sony bloggie. You need to write sony or post comments on their site about making full use of the screen.

the sofrtware that i use is powerdirector 8 it is very good and costs 20 to 30 pound in the uk and it is worth every cent,i question does the sony camera use sd cards?

I got this information on Sony's site. They had the 8GB info so I just divided it all by two.

yea it works i uploaded a video on my other channel and.... yea i guess its not in hd it has the 2 black sides on the video and you cant choose to watch it in hd lame. idk the quality of the video sux compared to how it looks when u 1st upload it to your computer. was first time uploading a video to youtube with an hd camera so i guess iam a noob in the past i didnt have an hd camera so i never had this problem. maybe you can help me idk thx

@SAKNO15 Install the CD it came with, then use the PMB program to upload and convert your video. After you wait FOREVER for it to convert, you can edit with any program.

I use Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas 8, and Adobe After Effects.

Sony Vegas will edit MP4 and MOV files.MAGIX Movie Edit Pro also will edit MP4 and MOV files. It's just Windows Movie Maker that can not edit MP4 and MPOV files.

When I tried with Vegas Pro 8 and 9, the video kept skipping. On my Windows computer it didn't matter what program I used, the videos just kept skipping. That's why I had to convert it all. It's SUCH a pain. But I also tried After Effects and the same thing happened. I couldn't even view the videos on media player or quick time. It can't just be my computer, it did the same thing to my boyfriend's.

Very good review! I just got one yesterday. (A white one too). The zoom function is available in both 720 60fps and 720 30fps only the image stabilizer only works with 720 30fps and i find that a useful function. I only use full HD when I can lay the camera down somewhere or on a tripod otherwise it's too shaky.
