@773SleepyHollow Copyright is a limited form of monopoly, designed to encourage people to create works of art. As monopoly is an evil, copyright should never run for longer than is necessary to encourage the makers of a film such as this to create the work in question. Reversal of Fortune is a 21 year old movie, its makers have had plenty of time to recoup their initial investment. Copyright terms are far longer than they need to be, all films should revert to public ownership after 21 years.
@alexistarr I doubt that the goal of the makers of RoF was merely to "recoup their initial investment," I'm sure their goal was to make whatever profit they could from the film during their lifetimes. Apparently you don't think they should have that right... I disagree.

It's high time to return the copyright to it's true owners, the general public, so that we can benefit from the limited time monopoly we generously bestowed on the film makers.

I saw this movie for the first time yesterday and, boy, did I love it! The performances and the writing are very strong. I laughed so hard when Von Bulow told Dershowitz he had the greatest respect for the intelligence and integrity of the Jewish people.
@wallyf52 It's worth it trust me. Because of this I believe Von Bulow could be innocent. Sunny had a number of emotional problems that could have let to her coma. And no matter what Claus was framed in a sense by his step children & their PI. Now matter what one thinks that is not justice.
