  • awww my 1st show horse, an Egyptian Arabian gelding used to do that same lip smacking lol...We always knew he was feeling good by when he was doing it, that was the only time he would do it. And at horse shows, omg he did it like CRAZY at shows lol

  • I liked your video, and not being mean, but I really hate it when people say things about Western riding. Like being "stuck" with it. It's actually a really good way to ride, not just for balance. :)

  • i used to take horseback riding lessons but i quit because i almost broke my arm on my last fall. i got scared!!!! it was so scary!

  • Great job! Just try to keep your heels down and your balance seems fine. I know this is from two years ago though. :)

  • i ♥ the saddle club theme song!!

  • GOOD JOB! I will send you a video of me riding soon.

  • Good job! the only thing, which i think you got by now, lol is to keep your heels down and at about 3:10 when you were trotting on the lunge you were on the wrong diagonal but i see you got it at the end good job overall

  • good posture on the horse your born to ride

  • good jod keep it up! good luck with future riding!

  • good ride

  • your a pretty rider but to have a more comfortable ride you should bend your elbows and keep your heels down........ thats what my trainer says and it helps to get your balance and more comfy.......oh and dont forget that your elbows are your shock absorbers!!!!!!!!!!! great job otherwise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good job, but that's funny that they had you start off in a Western saddle to get your balance. I think it's better to start off in the English so you get the exact feel for it.

  • my horses name is rio!!! hahaha hes an arabian to!

  • Great job! I ride western, and I think its fun! :) Nice job posting btw. I would just like to say one thing, your stirrups seemed a bit high to me... but I don't know. The horsey was BEAUTIFUL! I love arabians! I ride one at my lessons named Lyness.

  • about the length of the stirrups... if she will be switching to an english saddle she needs to be able to have the stirups that length.. it does look strange on a western saddle i agree!

  • good job riding. your position is good but the only thing i would suggest is to keep your heels down.

  • great job, but keep your heels down.

  • wow ur good!

  • good job! its harder to post in western =/ its a pain. i rode western from age 5 to 13 and just started riding english. even though it may not seem like a big difference, it really is.

  • the thing the horse does is funny with its lip but very cute

  • wow. pretty good! i ride english.. i do dressage. i am riding a horse named angel at the moment. i will try to get a video to show you when i go to ride on monday.

  • thanks for the comment. i kno im not the best but once i get the money im gonna go back into riding again and go every other week if i have too. it's better than nothing.

  • i hate doing a siting trot but i reckon anyways better good luck with ur riding and more =p ur good and i hope u fellow ur love of horses to a career after all ur 19 make ur dreams come true early or they might not happen ;/

  • thanks for the great comment. i'd love to go w/ a career w/ horses, but sadly i'm not going into that. i'm going into nursing. and i just dont think i'd be able to support myself. so later on i'm getting my own horse anad i'm just gonna be riding for fun w/ a few competitions here and there.

  • yeah that fair but be careful of ur showing cost when u get ur horse later =] it costs lots all at once to get the gear u need but i hope u get a good career in nursing =] im trying to do a curse for horse/animal training and im going to hopefully start it in yr 9 insted of stay in school beacuase i will already be the age of 15 =]

  • That sounds like a good idea! Although Equine vets make pretty good money! Beautiful horse, ive always wanted to ride an arabian. I ride a warmblood gelding named Midnight. Hes nice, but HUGE!! Im actually having a lesson on him in a few hours!

  • lol guys rember riding in a western saddle is way diffrent and easyer than a english saddle the western makes u stiffer on the saddle and it keeps u postur more and it doss alot for balance bcuse its a big seat rather than a small one i love doing a rising trot on a western then changeing to the english it feels eayser but i like the horn on the western saddle ;/

  • OMG if u keep this up with lots of hard work and effort you could really become an amazing rider. Your doing really good! hey I lease an arabian pony =]. It's all a learning process, and if u go to a show in a couple of months you'll beat all those two-faced, stuck up girls that u see on those horseback riding tv shows x]] haha.

    GREAT JOB!

  • your good she should of took you off the lunge line

  • hey paula great video!!

i decided to do updates on Reba's training and stuff and random horsey blogs. ^^

you gave me some inspiration in this video.

check me out~candyhorse205~ or i'll just find you once i get my first video up. ^^ ilu!!

  • You're doing pretty good but my advice would be to look up and not down at the horse

  • good job! i ride horses, but i usually do english. NICE JOB!!!! =D

  • ur good!

  • thank you . i kno a lot of poeple out there are better than me but hey its a learning proces.

  • thanx petty cool and ur good i do horseback riding to but i ride english

  • good riding i dunno why u had 2 do western though cuz riding without reins helped me alot with balance

  • hey, that was cool!=) In my entire life I think I was sitting like 5 times on a horse's back...x) that makes that I absolutely have no idea when it comes to riding...=) but you did a great job because I would have kissed the dust more than once...^^ and the song you chose for the video is great...=) "mama mia, here I go again..." *stuck in my head now*

  • You need to lowr the stirrups!!! lol!!! good job

  • I agree!

  • lol.

  • nice riding ur looking good just remeber to keep ur heels down

  • good job! just keep your soulders back and your heels down. im so sorry you had to ride western! how can that help your balance? riding english without stirrups helps with balance

  • i'll be honest i have no idea unless i misunderstood the trainer.

  • that could be as well. western is ok, i prefer english myself. JUMPING!! lol :P

  • when u do 2point raise ur shoulders a little bit more, and stick ur but, out :)

  • nice vid and the horse seems calm!

  • Try Barrel Racing... You will like it better than English...

  • Wow great video Paula =] xoxo
