@DjolePippo Well i thought we were talking only about Euroleague . In that case o totally agree with the fact that Paok and Aris have the best fans too (i dont know about Maccabi) . My favourite basket fans are Aris' fans (although i am Panathinaikos) . Just check the video of the last small final of Greek Basketball in 2009 Aris vs Marousi . I have never see sth like this before . If you cant find it you can call me for a link . You MUST SEE IT .

He is obviously a player who knows how to play the game... but to me he deserves the second place this year, behind Ersan Ilyasova... and that's because Ilyasova is a key player in a higher level team, which is aiming for the title.

I disagree. Ersan is a player on a team thats worth 20 times the team Novica plays on, yet Novica is the key player on this young team and he practically shares the burden with Tepic and Tripkovic of competing against much more experienced and financialy stable teams. I wish we had the money to bring back Krsitc, Drobnjak, Avdalovic, Vujanic, Pekovic, Stojakovic, and then we would see if you would be singing the same song.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, I just see things from a different angle.

I think that if Velickovic played in one of this year's final 4 teams(which are the best and deepest teams of Europe by far for me, and deserved to be there), he would not be a protagonist. I guess he would have the role of a player like Tsartsaris of PAO, or Erceg of Olympiacos etc... That's why I think Ilyasova deserves the award most, because he became a star on a great and deep team like Barca.

IF partizan had only 15-20% of CSKA-s budget he would be in final 4 every year for sure.......Its harder to be good in team like this then it is in a team with all the best players around u.....

Guys, I understand that you love Partizan, but going to the final 4 isn't such an easy task.

Don't take CSKA as the only example, because that team is the only one who has found a way to arrive at the Final 4 for 7 years in a row. Even deep and high budget teams like Panathinaikos, cannot find the way to go far in the competition every year... That means that money is not the only issue in basketball, and Partizan's successful season is the proof for that.

The extra points for Ilyasova are not for success of his team but for being a key player at successive team.

It is much harder to succeed when you have presser on you, when there are several good players on your possession, when you are not the only go to guy.
