Their employees committed voter registration fraud which means they filled out forms knowing they were false. Unless you are suggesting that the State Elections board allowed people to vote under false names once they verified the application then you are mistaken. Acorn's problem is that they paid people based on the # of forms they filled out. That opens the door for fraud.

The CRA had wasn't about affordable housing. It was put into place to encourage banks to loan to people in low income neighborhoods. ACORN brought about lawsuits because banks were discriminating against people because they lived in low income areas. After all evidence was presented a Judge decided that the banks did discriminate against people. Blame the Judge!

And then they need to make sure that the State Elections board whose job it is to check every voter registration card to make sure its valid does what they are suppose to do. How on Earch could a invalid registration form turn into a vote. Think about all that has to happen for 1 person to commit fraud. Then you would need thousands to repeat that.

In every electin millions of votes are purged from the system without the voter ever knowning. In the 2000 and 2004 elections 2-4 million votes purged, only 1 person was convicted of trying to vote more than once. Why do you think the Republicans never complain about the millions of votes purged from the system. Think real hard.
