Maybe U.S. Sen. Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL) watched Chris Dawn Daughtry (b. 12/26/79 in Roanoke Rapids, NC) on “American Idol”. But DENVER, CO plays a big part in both of their electoral lives. Daughtry auditioned for the show there while Obama accepted the Demoncratic nomination for president there in 2008. Daughtry’s parents, Pete & Sandra live in PALMYRA, FLUvanna County,VA (has CRAFTon, FORK Union), while Halifax County, NC—where Chris was born—also has a PALMYRA, 175 mi. to the south

i agree with Chris 100%! where else in the world do you have the right to choose who you think should run the country? England is run by a prime minister that's chose by his party, i think Australia and Canada are the same way, in Japan the Emperor chooses the Prime Minister. we are so blessed and lucky to do things our way. i love being an American and i wouldn't wanna live anywhere else...even in these hard times of ours.

No offense, but its not just "Chris Daughtry" its the entire band of "Daughtry"... and Idol gave him his 'big break' but he was working on that way before, coming from a small town its not exactly easy. Anyway, these are a great group of guys and should be recognized as a band, not just a lead singer. Thanks!...By the way, Great video!
