I haven't found any castor oil yet so I've been using Africa's Best herbal oil to seal the KCCC in. At first I felt like I wasted my money on this product but with your method, I love it now. Hi Shanatural! What are the exact products used in this video, and how often do you use it outside of doing a puff. What I mean is; is this your regimen?
@BOWTIECHILD The products used were Kinky Curly Custard & Castor Oil. I use this pretty often besides when I'm experimenting with other styles like twistouts. I would say that it is in my regime. In the past I was just using castor oil mixed with my conditioner during cowashes but my hair loves it when I apply it directly on my hair. I ❤ Castor oil & Kinky Curly :D

@SuperPhdiva You don't have to use both. I have used just eco styler plenty of times and it works great. It has a hold that is just a tad bit more than I prefer. But I love eco styler around my edges for that strong hold! The results are almost identical!

@finallykogospel I forgot to mention it in the vid but Eco Styler works just as great! Figuring out how much to use is challenging because its dependent on your hair type. Definitely don't want it crunchy...
@concedenothing I've been using the combo of KCC and eco styler around the edges since the beginning of my journey. It works well in my hair. I wouldn't say my hair is sticky. The castor oil actually makes it feel moisturized like any other oil (but better). A lot of ppl complain about crunchiness and stiffness when using gels so this is my solution. My hair feels softer than it would if I used gel alone.

@MsSexyDiva4Lyfe THANKS DIVA!!! It is pricey but I have to look at the price another way. Let me explain...lol...if you use it once a day for 30 days basically you've spent $1 a day on your hair. Now doesn't that seem better, LOL! But a jar probably last me for 2-3 months because I don't use it everyday. So that's even cheaper. Also I get almost the same results with Eco Styler! Try that first its cheaper and if it works then you know KC will work too! Sorry for the rambling, LOL! Happy Growing!

Very cute! I wonder if Kinky Curly has an expiration date,lol. I need to check. I used it a lot last summer when I did my BC but never used it again & still have half the container. I see some people even do twistouts with the KC.
@mgillespie12 IDK. Lol! If it doesn't smell its probably still good. I had some that I didn't use for about 6 months and I eventually used it. It seemed fine :D I've heard of KC twistouts. I might try that one day...

Now doesn't that seem better, LOL! But a jar probably last me for 2-3 months because I don't use it everyday. So that's even cheaper. Also I get almost the same results with Eco Styler! Try that first its cheaper and if it works then you know KC will work too! Sorry for the rambling, LOL! Happy Growing!

@wcallisa22 I haven't tried that yet. I'm currently in LOVE with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie for my twist and twistouts. Sounds like you have great results! One day....Lol!

Very cute! I wonder if Kinky Curly has an expiration date,lol. I need to check. I used it a lot last summer when I did my BC but never used it again & still have half the container. I see some people even do twistouts with the KC.

@mgillespie12 IDK. Lol! If it doesn't smell its probably still good. I had some that I didn't use for about 6 months and I eventually used it. It seemed fine :D I've heard of KC twistouts. I might try that one day...
