I saw this movie shortly after being saved. It had a major impact on my life in a very positive way. My children also saw it. It tells the truth which unfortunately many want to shy away from. If you can get this movie I highly recommend it. It's better to see it in a movie then to have to live it because of ignorance

Mt 13: 24-30, 36-43 clearly states that the righteous and the wicked both must endure until the end of the world (also Rev 2-3).

There is no pre-tribulation get out of jail free card. We must endure until the end, not seven years before the end, THE END. He will not come in secret to take away the righteous and leave others behind. When He comes "with the clouds" "every eye shall see him" (Rev 1:7) The same event as 1thes4, 1cor15.

i watched the other 2 movies a few years ago i was an adult and could handle it. parents don't let your little kids watch these movies unless u want them 2 keep u up at night having nightmares about there heads getting chopped off. u shouldn't scare people n 2 salvation. these movies are nothing more than explotation, b-movie, horror films. but as long as it's christian themed it's ok but if u watch friday the 13th and such u r wrong and evil person and r going 2 hell right.

we watched the 1st movie a thief in the night in 1990 at vbs at nigth for the kids 12-18. i wanted to say 2 my pastor are you a member of roos doughton's fan club or what. i was older and could handle it though. do churches still have movie night showings on sunday night of these movies. if they do why don't they show friday the 13th, halloween, nightmare on elm street, texas chainsaw massacare, because i think they belong in the same genre horror. but wait those are not christian themed.

Using my husbands youtube account to post a comment - This horrible movie completely ruined me. I watched it at age 7 at a friends house and even now at age 30, it has a horrible effect on me. You need to read Mathew24. What i believe is that there will not be a rapture and if there is it won't be untill the middle of the"tribulation". People need to get a grip. yeah i watched the 1st 2 movies in this series in 1987 when i was 11. they are some of the most God awful movies ever made if the actors were any stiffer u could take them 2 the ocean and surf on them. i'm a christian not because of these movies they r not the best way 2 lead people 2 life long commitments for jesus tall they show is God's wrath which he is a God of wrath but u 1st tell people God is a God of love and forgiveness.
