  • Nevertheless a cool car worth taking care of, homemade or not. Good luck restoring it! :)

  • The fact that its a one seater also contributes to this. Ive never seen a production one seater other than racing cars. There are cars that narrow, but they always have two seats in tandem. As for the engine, it looks like it has a 1910-20s Harley or other motorcycle cylinder, secured to the crankcase with that plate on the top. An original cylinder would have a flange at the base instead of that plate obscuring the cooling fins. It would also probably be equipped with a fan when used in a car.

  • @KapteinOpel Hello, Thanks for your comments. The Velox engine is correct in having the cylinder & head fixed with the steel plate. There is no possiblity to flange fix the cylinder. The front axle is veteran, but from what ? It seems the parts from a veteran were built into a homemade special later in it's life.

  • @YoungBentleyboy Ok, but are you sure the cylinder ts correct? It pretty much resembles an early 10s Indian cylinder. As for the front axle, its impossible to say. It has the T-Ford arrangement with transverse leaf spring, but its certainly not a model T axle. The "Sliding Pillar" also looks home made. It is certainly shortened and turned upside down, and seems to be from a much heavier vehicle.

  • I think this is a home made car. Reasons for this are 1: The front axle, which is way oversized for a little car like this. It looks like its from another car, and turned upside down. 2. The grille, which looks like its home made. 3. The style all over of the car, which looks more like an early 20s car than an early 1900s car. I also think that an early car would have a different layout in terms of placement of the engine and driver when the engine is so small.

  • Very interesting 'car.' It looks like it has been sitting in a cool, dry place for a century. I wonder if it would be safe to get it moving? Probably not. But I really wanted to know what the music you used was? I checked-out the Madonna song and later realized you'd changed it. What did you change it to?

  • Wow I would really like to know how the engine works!

  • Is it driven by a V-belt?

  • No, it's driven by a chain.

  • Hello my name is Patrick and you have the chance to hava an original car that is the only like that in the world.

  • Looks like it ! I still would love to find out more about the engine though...
