I have been chasing Page's tone for years... and I have never been able to get it spot on,, I need to get my Pickups on my Les Paul coil tapped, as thats what Jimmy has on his LP, also, I read somewhere that he has came up with a new type of 3 way p/up toggle switch with Gibson, I dunno what it does though?

I play through a Marshall JCM2000TSL 100watt head, and a Laney 4x12, with a LP obviously!

Page is probably my biggest influence to..

He has slowed down a little bit but hes still got it!

And Page didn't use coil tappinng in the 70's.

You need to use a marshall 59 slp if you want his 70's tone along with unbalanced coils/low output humbuckers in a 58/59 les paul reissue.

I have to say surprisingly they did capture and maintain the "MYTH"....If they do tour they may be able to pull off 3 years of on again/off again concerts. Listening to Led Zeppelin is like being out at sea...different waves and peaks that can be soft or intense that blend to an endless depth - I think if they were 90 years old they could still accomplish that...In bed of course...Just kidding....Can you imagine a chance to see the Legend of Legends??

The sound quality on this vid is awful, so don;t judge Zep on the strength of this alone.

I was fortunate to be at the O2 and let me tell you they can still rock with the best of them. They enjoyed themselves on stage, smiling having a laugh. Amazing.
