I'm not gay but am so glad Australia has such a great gay culture. As a student I used to bartend at the most well-known gay club in Melbourne, it was by far the most fun and exciting time of my life. Working was like a party.
Definitely :) Working with those people made me much more positive and enlightened. I used to have a horribly bad anxiety problem but learned a lot from such great folks about not fearing what others thought of you.
@canadaguy666 no doubt at all......but very much in denial.....like so many in my situation and hoping one day that I would be completely heterosexual. I spent most of my life monitoring my behaviours, gestures, voice etc. Thankfully today I can be myself.
Australia is very accepting and open with homosexuality by and large, but you will always have some lowlives who have nothing better to do with themselves than take their frustrations out on minorities....
@TiaMaryyTanginoaxD Campbelltown is just one example..........many suburbs out of the inner city circle are not safe spaces for same sex public affection where as opposite sex affection actually goes unnoticed......its 'normal'.
Two of my cousins turned homosexual after they were raped, both by males. There is strong evidence suggesting homosexuality is a result of trauma or traumatic upbringing. My mates older brother is a homosexual and their dad died when the brother was around 9 - You can't tell me loosing his father at such a vulnerable age had no mental effect on him. I'm not suggesting everyone who goes
s through trauma will become homosexual simply, a high percentage of homosexuals are trauma victims
That is one option but I have to put it on DVD. The other is to put it on the internet on torrents and you can download it. I am just 15 mins walk from you so I would hand deliver it if on DVD.

As a gay man, I will NEVER understand how they marry women. Despite how much it has hurt me in the past. I will NEVER understand.

I'm surprised Australia is apparently this homophobic of a country. I would have expected them to be slightly more socially progressive.
