@cyn33667 Obviously you have never PT'd in the Army...especially with the Infantry. There is no room for weak people in the Infantry. Weakness in peace means you will be weak during war. Yes, he did have to be pushed. If you won't push yourself beyond your mental barriers during PT then there is no way you will do it in combat and someone will die while trying to save you. Imagine how that guy would be sucking when it's 120 outside and you have 60+ lbs. of kit on...he wouldn't make it.

Taking the life of another in the name of god or any other reason is wrong. The whole system is askew. War is never the answer. Soldiers are brave for trying to defend their country. That is without question. But, are the motives justified? Hundreds of thousands dead. For what exactly? 9/11?, god?, freedom?, There are other ways to obtain these things... for ALL of mankind!! @cyn33667 Obviously you have never PT'd in the Army...especially with the Infantry. There is no room for weak people in the Infantry. Weakness in peace means you will be weak during war. Yes, he did have to be pushed. If you won't push yourself beyond your mental barriers during PT then there is no way you will do it in combat and someone will die while trying to save you. Imagine how that guy would be sucking when it's 120 outside and you have 60+ lbs. of kit on...he wouldn't make it.

Be proud of your physical fitness but don't underestimate how hard either of those programs are. Don't say POG because you're not in the Infantry and haven't earned it. I didn't call you a shit bag, I merely stated that you've never PT'd with an Infantry unit. Usually a lot worse than a light push happens if you fall out of a run...trust me, I've seen it.

This was my unit, I was there when this all of this video was made. I am the second in the background looking down the street with the golden mosque in the background. We are infantrmen. We train to fight and kill and some people on here i see talk trash about something they know jack shit about. Even with our job and what we are trained to do, you could not fathom the amount of good we have done for the innocent. ALot of them are scared for their lives if we just up and left. We protect them.
