2)If Gabrielle was "sitting on something" why didn't she get off of it when she first felt it?

3)That was a heck of a big "bathtub" Minya must have been exhausted toating all those buckets and buckets of "hot" water back and forth. And in reality, by the time another bucket of water was hot enough for a bath, the water they were in would have cooled considerably. Hence, no steam.
