Thank you very much for sharing this video. I am trying to study Yolngu from the U.S., and I can't get to Arnhemland to experience the culture, especially Garma.
Hi-- I looked into that actually, and it's about $1,000 or over (even to study online). Then I would have to do a semester or two up there, which is no problem if I could save some major money for that! An alternative is to get books from ARDS, although I would never get to speak Yolngu Matha (or Gumatj) with anyone. I will keep my fingers crossed for something to come through.
