  • Does anybody know the name of this song?

  • @rmar67 The name of the song is "Leatherman's Theme" by the group 'Wright Brothers Flying Machine'. The song can be found on the Thank God It's Friday soundtrack album (originally a 3 record set). The song can also be found on the self-titled album by 'Wright Brothers Flying Machine'.

You can listen to the song right here on YouTube by searching for "Leatherman's Theme".

  • @DiscoMania

    Thanks!

  • Excellent and oh so funny scene!

  • I wonder if he's Puerto Rican or Mexican

  • This is such a blatant stereo type of Hispanics! LOL!

  • @Rakastaja1 yeah its completly true...

  • Yeah, a more simpler time...still had our share of BS but a more happier time!

  • that is my music teachers brother! so wierd! but she doesnt like too share it lmao

  • HA! The first thing I thought of when I saw "Chick Vennera" was "Oh! That's Enrique Mas, Rose Nylund's boss on "The Golden Girls"! And it's not like I don't know the movie; I still have the triple soundtrack on vinyl with hardly a scratch on any of the records. (The third record has Donna Summer singing "Je t'aime...Moi Non Plus" for 16 minutes on one side; nothing on the flip side.)

  • loved him! =)

  • I like the Ford LTD and the Montecarlo. Where is the rest of the movie.

I'd like to see the full movie.

  • @eldeny62 me too! can someone post it please!!!

  • Back in 1978, I was just in awe of his dancing. 30+ years later, and all I can think about is the dancing and the damage he's doing to those cars. Oh well, it's still fun to watch.

  • look at all them spic tanks!

  • Just a couple of kids hopped up on dope! LOL

  • i seen this on HBO when i was about 12 it was at that point wile watching the leatherman i knew i was gay so for me this movie was a coming of age flick

  • I enjoyed this clip especially it's quotable conclusion. But my automatic responce would be to instantly leap on this guy if any one of those cars were mine. Lol Especially if I caught him just jumping off the phone booth. Man on a car like that nowadays you'd be asking for a bullet in the head

  • Notice how tightly parked the car are. You can tell they were put in those places for this scene. I mean really there is no way you can open those car doors like that.

  • I was a teenager back then but, yeah, those were some good times. The mood and attitude was much livelier and cheery (and much, much simpler!!!) ; definitely was nothing like today!

  • Seems like everybody was happy in the 70's unlike today when we're all sad and broke.

  • thats because everybodys world is in tiny little box just texting their lives away

  • @jmkpns Plus in the 70's you never used to roll up your windows and lock your car when you parked it!

  • @jmkpns

  • @jmkpns every one was happy back in ye olden days the 70s the pot was much better then todays crap

  • @jmkpns I so agree and thought the same

  • No stunts.

  • dancing everything else is bullshit!! Ever notice how close the cars are together. I guess the people knew that ol' marv was going to dance on their roof's and needed to be close together.

  • Elias Koteas?

  • u BETTA HIT THAT SHIT !!!YYYYEAAAHHH BABY !!

  • I want the DVD

  • -just. PeacexXx!!!

  • DANCING...everything else is just bullshit!

  • parking lot pimpin...

  • This Club was on the corner of La Cienega and Burton Way in Los Angeles. The name of the actual club was called Oscos. it was torn down I think in early 1980s.

  • LOL I think it was a Chippendale's just before they tore it down. I recognize that weird entrance. I'd completely forgotten that building. Ha-ha!

  • I remember the place fondly! That was the place for Disco in L.A.! Great memories!

  • I LOVE this movie!!! that sucks they don't make movies like this anymore :(

  • Marv Gomez, reminds me of Inigo Montoya.

Great movie. Sadly, I'm old enough to remember actually paying to see this movie in a theater when it came out. Anybody from the DC burbs remember Marlow Hieghts Cinema near Andrews Air Force Base? That's the place I saw it. Crazy I remember that.

  • I do. I actually *live* in DC, and know of where you speak. But don't feel bad; I paid to see this in a theater on Connecticut Avenue in NW Washington in 1978. That makes me 47 now. What can ya do?

  • you got me by 5! Turning 43 in August! I bet you remember the original 9:30 club? Some great shows were done there my friend back in the day!

  • A classic! I love that dude!!! Thanks for the video!!!
