okay...so it's not a joke....it uses principles that photographers have known for years. If you block out blue light, things appear sharper and you are less likely to have eye fatigue. If you block out glare (through polarization) you see things sharper and less eye fatigue. If you block out UV rays, you protect your eye health. The commercial may be cheezie, but the principles are sound. Eagle Eyes are a bit better but they are also more expensive too.
