Weird question. In the Sailor Moon Supers movie, there is a scene near the beginning where Serena is wearing an outfit that is a combination of a hoodie and a dress. the dress is just a sleeveless, scoop-necked just above knee length dress, but it has sleeves in a contrasting color and a contrasting hood. i tried putting a hood on a dress that i had made, but it was kind of a disaster. can you post a tutorial to help me? i also wouldnt mind a tutorial on setting sleeves.

I've recently lost a whole ton of weight (like, 20 pounds, or a couple pant sizes) and almost all of the jeans, pants, and skirts I used to wear either are WAY too loose on me, or just fit really strangely now. Maybe you've got some ideas of how to turn bottom-half clothes into some other cool stuff? I do all my sewing by hand, so it'd be nice if it was easier...
