Noooo, he said that the gap of the concept of motion went away!? F=m.a , e=m.c^2 ... motion, force, mass, energy, what's energy? That's why you have the Big Bang and primary mover coming always at you. You're untying the knots but you still have to explain what's a rope. Energy in the vacuum... that's the old problem reappearing. I hope there will be a true discovery this time, not just another knot :)
the big bang was the start, bit this universe is but one of many in a multidimensional multiverse of eternity, with in a void. We are all one unit of energy/coniousness.
I think the meaning of universe gets lost......it is often talked of as merely the scope of what we can see or predict....and bounded. I cant have that. BB may have created our planets, solar systems etc.....but there was something before it....without doubt.
There cannot possibly be a beginning. Even if someone believes a god created it, it's not a beginning, otherwise what was god hanging in, prior. And where did god come from? There is always a prior.
No problem. I watched your video and thought this seemed appropriate. This is my favourite talk from the Beyond Belief seminars, because I'm one of those annoying people that ask 'what was before the big bang' :)
