  • old padro out of dallas if i could drive my truck thru his shop and get away with it i would.. that dude right there builds nothing but shit

  • those brake bumpers haha

  • not only are you gonna destroy bumpers , but that loud ass truck is gonna get you shot while your trying to hook chains ! and don't knock a wheel lift just cause you couldn't get one ! and oh yeah , a real repo man isn't scared to beat on the door for the keys , no matter what he drives !

  • archer - it is not your property until it is payed for. And when you get behind the OWNER has the repo man sent to get their stuff. The scum are the ones thinking they don't have to pay for shit they want.

  • Did u destroy the cv boots with the hooks?

  • Here is what you need to be practicing. While on you knees repeat this till you have it down pat (please sir don't shoot me in the back of the head like the dog that I am I am sorry for being a low life repo wimp please let me go) you are all scum and you know it you have to sneak around using little fold up toy towtrucks if you were real men you would just go knock on there door and explain what is going on instead of stealing peoples property. Peace out girl scouts.

  • @archer82633 LOL you must have had your shit snatched, you sound a bit bitter. BTW we don't have to knock on your door and explain shit to you because the bank has been blowin your phone up for the last 30 - 90 days. As far as "property" is concerned techincally it is the banks property until you have "paid in full" for it. Remember this you have to pay for it, for it to be "your" property.

  • @gcysr88 You sir are incorrect, I have never had anything repossessed I just dislike people that make there fortune on others misfortune that alone makes repo men nothing more than low life car thieves. Ok that being said people need to pay there bills but lets be grown up about it meet face to face and work it out not this sneaking around stealing shit.

  • @archer82633 You sir, are an idiot. To REPOSSES means to get what is YOURS from someone who is BORROWING IT, until they PAY FOR IT. Anybody with a brain knows that property does not belong TO YOU until you, get this, PAY FOR IT. Everyone who has their stuff reposesed does not OWN it. So get the fuck out with your stupid ass retarded comments. ASWELL, the people KNOW that their vehicle is going to be repossesed, so why the hell should repo men INFORM them, of what they already know?

  • Why do ppl insist on getting then fucking kinds of lifts!?!? JUNK!!!!

  • JUNKKKK

  • that is a noisy boom

  • YOU'RE GONNA PLAY WITH THAT SLING AND CATCH BULLET IN YOUR ASS MAN... SERIOUSLY. AND YOU HAVE THAT LOUD ASS CUMMINS YOU WENT THE CHEAP ROUTE YOU COULD'VE BOUGHT A DYNAMIC... WE RUN CENTURY EXPRESSES A NEW FLEET OF THEM TOO. WATCH OUT FOR DOT!

  • You must''ve got a real deal on that - most repo men wouldn't get that - it's a diesel so too noisy for stealth work, and it takes too long to hook up the car. Better buy a bullet proof vest. You bought the 8-track of tow trucks.

  • You are not going to be sneaking up to anyone, that truck is loud as shit!

  • That rig is NOT total crap. There is something to be said for being the most unlikely rig to swoop down and drag off your ride. You're sitting there and the folks are all nervous about some tow truck on some unrelated errand, you come from out of nowhere and catch that shit before anyone ever saw!!! As the title says; repo PRACTICE!

  • I am sure stealth as far as repo's for this truck are LONG GONE.

  • The dirtiest job at towing is having to lay on the ground. You & the interior of your truck will stay much cleaner if you're using a wheel lift.

  • i have a sling in my F350 super duty i am telling you it is one of the sneakiest way to sneak into communities and take cars and trucks and box trucks its awesome i wish u the best man

  • if you dont mind me asking how much did that setup cost?

  • I have to agree with like mostly everyone who commented on the video u need to get rid of the crapy truck and unit u need a 1 ton or 1 1/2 ton that truck and unit of yours suck not offense in my state you need a 1 1/2 ton or 2 tons to tow most of teh vehicles nobody really buys very small lite cars I suggest you get a diesel ford f250 or f350 really that is a piece of crap unit and truck

  • you need to sell that unit to a scrap hauler you need a wheel lift as long as it took you to hook that car you would have your head stomped in ground by the debtor you would never make it in my town with that truck no offense but everybody would laugh at u around here just sayin and u need at least a one ton unit it may be cheaper but thats what u got a cheap unit, you can buy or build an add on wheel lift fairly cheap plus in my state this truck would not be legal

  • @millenium757 I agree with that is a scrap unit

  • no offense but as long as it took u to load that is pathetic.............if your in a wheel lift 30 seconds or less if your in a rollback.........90 seconds or less fully loaded...u need practice good luck to u

  • glad you like Repo Rich I like that guy also.

  • @samediver i think its hilarious that you got that pissed off over what i said earlier. I throw a line out, and you took it hook, line, and sinker. Child molester? whatever samedriver im not like a TRAILER TRASH repo man who cant afford to live in a nice home because im an uneducated moron. I have a masters degree from Ohio State university and make more in one week than several repo men make in a month.

  • @TangoTracker223 No, he shouldn't have gotten a MinuteMan. He should have really bought the Slik-Pick Revolution XT if he was interested in that type of lift.

And about the sling thing... Yes, he is putting too much of the sling under the car, but that's what prevents damage actually. The further you can get your sling under the car, the less damage. It'll keep the weight displaced better. Trust me, we used to run an Illusion truck, and figured out how to use it after years and years.

    Good Try

  • i have never seen a repo truck like this in new zealand its a very good idea

  • CUMMINS POWER!!! 24v straight six pull anything

  • wat if the parking brake is set? do you just drag the car against it?

  • Damn nice lookin truck for a repo truck anywho badass though

  • At least with a wheel lift you don't have to worry about ripping the bumper off. there is a reason why they use the z series for repo. not to mention that you don't have to get out of the car at the scene. drive away and hook up the safety chains after.

  • To many Haters.....He did just fine if he didnt get shot...

For a great repo company in oregon contact thorassetrecoverydotcom

  • @tbirdpimp07 hey fuckhead cant you read this is his first time operating this rig so it`ll take a little more time. i bet you aren't even a wrecker driver and if you were you should know it takes time the 1st time so you can go fuck off and that's to ne1 who thinks he`s slow.

  • For all of you sling haters, IF you know what you're doing, you can pick up anything damage free. Also, any good repossessor should be able to do this job with NO truck. 15 years, SoCal, whiteboy workin' the hoods. Retired, because I got bored.

  • mavue; yes slings do real nice things to plastic bumpers

  • I repo in my car no truck just do the prper paperwork make a key and take it ..if it has a chipped key club the car and knock on the door if it's on private property push it club on public propert then bang that door down for the key and drive off ..

  • wont this setup screw up plastic bumpers?

  • looks cool, but isnt to fast to set up. hope no one gets shitty with you

  • buddy get ur self a wheel lift otherwise someone gonna beat u up man u cant waste fucking time

  • I drove a sling truck when i was starting out , but found it was tearing up cars after a while .... i got a sneeker wheel lift now , and much better . The only thing you will be repoing is low buck title pawns and cut throat used car lots with that rig ... you wont get a good paying accts without a wheel lift - if you do you wont have them long after complaints start calling in for damages

  • You go with a duley I love seeing all these people doing it the half ass way. You cant pick up anything more then a car with that. Everyone wants to be a Repo man but know oe was the money to do it the right way!! Sorry you get what you pay for.

  • dude if i was repo cars i would have use a truck with duallys

  • The only thing I can see a sling being better for, which is actually the only reason I want to build a sling unit, is for dually trucks. I don't know of any wheel lift setup that works on dually's, but a quick pin is a quick pin. I think I'll set up an early 90s Ford 4500 cab and chassis with a flat bed and sling unit for doing large trucks. My partner has a brand new 4500 Dodge with Jerr-Dan Element, and I've got a Dynamic 601, or Recovery solutions 500 slide in unit on my 09 Dodge 3500.

  • Ive always wanted to know why do some repossers use sling rigs instead of wheel lifts? I see it more on the west coast than anywhere else. are there laws aginst wheel lifts or is it just a cost thing? wheel lifts seem safer in terms of speed. you can get clubbe in the head hooking up chains unless you have some backup. please clarify this for me. -Jay

  • A Wheel Lift is superior to a sling in some applications. Wheel Lifts aren't outlawed... in some states though, slings are outlawed.

  • Price mostly, and they want to conform to the image of a repo truck. I run a Dodge 3500 with a slide in autoloader, only because I couldn't get the commercial financing on the sterling bullet I wanted. Either way it's the same thing though as long as it's installed properly. My unit costs 10,000 with the clutch pump VS a sling at between 2500-3500 with an electric clutch pump.

  • Bill, your practice video is fast for a manuel sling set up! Nice job. Perfect rig for just starting out, don't sink too much money in a new business at first. Later on when you get some spare cash, you can upgrade to a Sniper or some thing. Keep it a cash business.

Easy to quite down a Cummins, use 2 mufflers in a row, the first is a resonator, the second is the main muffler. My '01 3500 has twins and 2 mufflers, the second is off of an International Pro Star. The stealth bomber!

  • DUDE!!! Dont waste your time with pedro again. Im here in Dallas where he is makeing them. he has a bad rep here for makeing shit. They installed a egeal claw on a friends truck and it fell off the truck first time he went to drag one out. save your self time and money and go get a dynamic or a minute man so you dont tear shit up....

  • good luck going unnoticed in a cummins, those fuckers are loud

  • im 25 and i do much faster than you man cheap repo man

  • Ok your chains are shit, your tow lights are 20 bucks at harbor freight, and you have a gravity down pump for your sling. Your new to this aren't you?

  • y would u want a sling ......shit sucksa n takes too long .....n ur truck wont be able to pick up alot of weight only smaller vehicles like cars ... u need a 1 ton or bigger

  • U do realize this is a 2500 and rated at 8800 over the rear axle right.

  • @wc40250 not to mention a mother fucking cummins trapped to the front end

  • @Tousignantdlgg Much easier to maneuver a single axle, I'm sure. Besides, if I'm thinking right, you're just trying to get the car out quick.

  • @Tousignantdlgg I agree

  • Wheel lift . just a thought.

slings are good for scrap though. lol

  • It is a cheap start.

  • fair enough, however, with the new cars of today (plastic bumpers etc.) you need to be able to move quick and be sure there is no risk of damage, and although I agree that you can get away with alot, with a sling, it's just not worth taking the chance. unless of course, your just hauling old clunkers, then all the more power to ya.

  • @lordaaronius I agree with the wheel lift I like those but I like slings as well but I dont like the one he is using

  • i think you need a self-loading wheel lift!

  • This was cheaper.

  • @buick66joe your right he does the one he is using is stupid

  • you aint gotta be quiet if your quick i got f-250 with a minute man im in and out in 15 seconds....................you need a lil more practice keep your chains attached at all times it can take a couple seconds off

  • 15 seconds with your MinuteMan...?

    Dang, kinda slow...:/

  • 24v cummins? looks cool

  • I thought tow operators left that rubber strap style and went for the wheel lift because the rubber straps messed up the bumpers?

  • They did but slings equipment is cheaper than the self loading wheel lifts and you can use a quick pick sling without having to get out the truck and put on chains.

I'm sure he has quick picks but didn't demonstrate them because they cause damage to newer cars and his buddy wouldn't like a torn up radiator I'm sure.

  • Someone who actually knows what they are talking about . Atleast their are some ppl who think about things before goin off at the mouth . Thank you killer . I do have quick pins this was the first time i used this lift and the other video is much faster. you dont set up in the ppl driveway any way . that would just be stupid.

  • It's no joke If you can't pay that note, yeah!!

  • this guy would be scerewed if he had to get in and out ive done a couple repos for my cousin and his minuteman blows this thing away oh and make your truck quiet idiot!!

  • Bet you MY MinuteMan blows your cousin's MinuteMan away...

    :)

  • Nine work

  • Can we see more of the lift you got? Do you plan on quieting that truck down at all?

  • NICE TRUCK AND UNIT

  • Well thanks blink. Happy you like it.

    Bill

  • Pedro has been making those short rigs for ever! Watch out when the welding cracks and looses a car!

  • Love this guys optimism. Its great !

    Bill

  • nice cummins but i wouldve gotten a hidden wheel lift , faster repo less headache and still have the bed for moving stuff.

  • I would've ,too. Except they are five thousand dollars more. Thanks for the advice though.

    Bill

  • I live in Pennsylvania and cant loose the bumper. Their for I cant use the tailgate, because it will get in the way. But thanks anyway Firexsand.

    Bill

  • Yeah, no problem. Your towbar never hits the ground though with your bumper on... you can damage cars like that man...

  • Thanks Repoman For the advice. I will loose the bumper in the future. Lookin for a good price on a flush bumper.

    Bill

  • First off, take your rear bumper off of your truck! Secondly, don't run unless you're in some great danger. Look like you know what you're doing, as if you own the car...

  • Great Job WC, truck is nice!! Talk at ya later and be safe.... RJ

  • Thanks RJ appreciate it.

    Bill

  • Alright Bill! Nice setup for sure.. the truck sounds like it is raring to pull anything at all!! Maybe when you prehook set the J's up top so they do not get pinched. And maybe underneath a little further, pull forward to tighten the Js then lift and go!! U get pins? Grab something heavy like your own truck just to make sure it'll handle the weight since new install!! Tell Pedros great job! And welcome aboard Bill!! Practice makes perfect too!! Thanks for the shout out!! Safety always....

    RR

    Bill
