  • i just got this board today but the guy at the shop set it up so there is about and 18 inch nose and 16 inch tail and its a 151cm is it supose to be like that

  • @santacruzer97 It is a directional board. If you like... you could more the front binding up one insert.

  • @thehouseboardshop will it still preform in the park even though its a directional board

  • Hey there, I am looking at buying a board for the upcoming australian season. I am looking at getting a board to help me make the jump to the next level. the ones i have been looking at are the clash and the TWC standard, as they wont break the bank, and seem to fit the criteria. Am i looking in the right direction? I mainly like riding fun little trails and some small jumps and things, but want something to handle all types of riding as i havent found my favourite just yet. thanks!

  • @TheMailbox30 The EZ V rocker on Clash and the Standard make them more of a beginners board. How much do you weigh and what size feet do you have? let us know and we will make some suggestions. Cheers

  • @thehouseboardshop I weigh about 65kg, and about 165cm tall. I have only boarded a couple times, but i caught on to it pretty quick. probably about 7 full days of riding experience. I am looking for sometihng to help me get a good feel for riding and make progress quick, as i can only get to the snow once or twice a season

  • @thehouseboardshop also, size 8-ish feet

  • if i got a 145 in this board will mediumm bindings fit on it? thanks

  • @JST1324 Some other boards you might want to check out are the Salomon Mini Drift Rocker, K2 Playback Snowboard 145 and the Rossignol Alias Amptek Snowboard 145.

happy to any answers by anyone

  • @ItaloComedy How much do you weigh and what size are you feet?

  • @thehouseboardshop i weigh about 65-70 and i am 1.65 meters

  • @ItaloComedy So that's about 154lb with some huge feet! As for you weight i would put you a board that is about 153 to 156. if you have a size 11 boot or bigger you will need to get wide. Check out the Rome Factory Rocker, K2 Brigade Wide Snowboard 155 and the Ride Agenda.

  • @thehouseboardshop oh sorry man, i meant height by 1.65, i'm actually 42 europe size feet, but thanks for the help!

  • im a new rider and size 11.5 foot. Debating between the 155 clash or the 157w bullet, any help?

  • @sxys2k get a wide

  • Hi @thehouseboardshop, a Burton Clash 151 with Medium Burton bindings it's a good combination? Im 5'6 and 120 with size feet 10. thanks

  • @CrisanFenrir Which Bindings and boots? If your feet are still growing you should get the XL bindings.

  • @thehouseboardshop The bindings are Burton Outpost 2012 and boots are DC Siloh 2010 (size feet 10) I don't think my feet are still growing I'm 18. Thank you!

  • @CrisanFenrir Sounds like a good beginner/intermediate setup.

  • @CrisanFenrir you might want to get a smaller board. im 5'7 and weigh 165 and i ride a 151 goes with ur weight too

  • @T810G Yeah I got a 151

  • I just got that board!!!

  • Hey im 6'1 and 190.. size 11 feet do you think this board would work for me in 160? or not wide enough?

  • @LifeLover2020 with size 11 feet I would recommend getting a wide. Perhaps the Burton Bullet Wide Snowboard 160 with a waist width of 26cm. However if you get some new boots with shrinkage tech, such as the 2012 Burton Motos you could get away with it.

  • @thehouseboardshop Thanks for responding so fast! Is there any other good models for intermediate boarders out there? maybe a year or two old model?

    Thanks again for responding.

  • @LifeLover2020 The Ride Manic Wide 160, K2 Brigade Wide Snowboard 159 and Sierra Reverse Crew Wide 160.

  • @thehouseboardshop Is the k2 brigade not suitable for Beginners? I've been once and was able to start switching sides towards the end but might take some readjustment on a diff board(rental last time). I'm about same size as LifeLover but 13 shoe.(14 moto)

  • @MystaKy The Brigade is perfect for and designed for beginner and intermediate riders. I would suggest getting the K2 Brigade Wide Snowboard 159 with a waist with of 26.5.

  • @thehouseboardshop Thanks! Trying to decide between the Brigade and the Bullet.

  • I'm an older rider... New to snowboarding, only about 10 times so far. 175 lbs, Size 9 foot. Looking for a good board to learn on. Looking at the the Burton Clash, or Forum Destroyer Double Dog. Probably stick to basic carving down the hill and small jumps. No park stuff! just want a basic all mountain board... Recommendation between the two?

  • @CrackersandChile The Destroyer Double Dog would make a great All Mountain Board. Another board you should check out is the 2011 Rossignol One Magtek156, We have one or two left in stock and at $359.00 you are getting an amazing All Mountain snowboard.

  • i love riding powder and park, i'm 5'5 with a 10 boot size, will this be a good board for me (the 145)?

  • @THELLAMAGASM how much do you weigh?

  • @thehouseboardshop The 145 is a good size would make a good park board.

  • Would you recomend this for a person who has never snowboarded but is ganna snowboard for a while? if so what size? if not what board is good. Please reply thanks!!!!

    Ps. Im 5' 5" 103 pounds and shoe size is a 10

  • @DunJizzOnMe The 145 Clash would be a good board, another board you should check out is The Ride DHK Wide Snowboard 145. A good board size would be 141 -145

  • im looking at about a 152 is this also good for street rails?

  • im pretty good on slopes and love flying down the hill...i want to start trying park and doing some jumps...im 5"8 and about 165...my boot is 10.5...what would you recommend??

  • @kcshook Here are a few good all mountain boards you might like.

Rossignol One Magtek Snowboard 156, Signal Omni Dave Snowboard 156 , Capita Outdoor Living Snowboard 156, Forum Destroyer Doubledog Wide Snowboard

  • is this board good for street?

  • @ireland708 It would work but it would not be my first choice for street. What size board are you looking for?

  • @Gilster85 @Gilster85 Its a beginner/Intermediate board thanks to the EZ V rocker. EZ V can be found on the Burton TWC Standard, Burton Bullet ande Burton Cash.

  • If im 5'6" 120lbs, could i get away with riding a 155 cm board, i wanna leave some room to grow into it?

  • @GreatWALLofKY11 You could, but you might want to go just a touch smaller say a 153.

  • @GreatWALLofKY11 yes, but, it will be difficult to keep control of it for a while. untill you get better and taller.

  • Would you recommend this over the flow merc?

  • @tlockable Not really, the Flow Merc is a great board.

  • @thehouseboardshop hell yeah !

  • I'm pretty sure i'm gonna get this board for christmas. do any of you guys know where i can get a good deal on a bindings and boots package. i'm having a rough time trying to find burton bindings because of the 3 hole system which this board has. i'm on a budget and looking for some help. thanks

  • @UNLEASHEDassassin05 Almost every brand of binding will have a multi disc that will work with the Burton 3D insert pattern. Whats your budget? I would be glad you help you pick out some boots and bindings.

  • @thehouseboardshop well i'm looking for cheap. not extremely overpriced but good and reliable boots and bindings...i wanna get a package deal that is in the 100s range but i know that's hard to do. i'm just having a tough time finding anything on the internet....anything you have to offer to me would be awesome and any advice too wouldn't hurt. thanks man. i appreciate it

  • whats up boss I'm thinking about getting this board i currently ride the 09 deuce, i ride outta WNY at KB and holliday valley so I'm mostly gonna want to have a free ride board/park and the deuce is a little stiff. I'm 6'3, 202lbs, size 12ft pretty sizable guy...what size u think i should get for this board??

  • @JustThatGuy716 I would suggest geting something with hybrid rocker such as the, Rossignol one magtek midwide, Custom Flying V Wide or GNU Riders Choice C2BTXwide. As for size I would suggest something around 158 to 161

  • Comment removed

  • @thehouseboardshop i want to do a lot of park like rails, box, butter, and some jumps i really like the GNU one you pointed out. since i ride a 163 with my current one should i shoot down to a 158 or 161??

  • Just got this board the other day! Heard only good about it! Cant wait to shred it!

  • I'm looking for a board which is good in the slope and in the powder, but also good for the park. My current board a Nitro Volume (Mid Wide) is just way to stuff for jumps and tricks. So my first tries in the park were'nt really successful.

I need a board that can give me both. Is the clash a good choice or which board can you suggest? (My boots are size 12.5 - 13 so Mid Wide Board may be neccessary on some boards).

    Thank you

  • how much?

  • @iloveparc I got mine at my local shop for $400

  • @FierceHD bummer we are selling it for 329.95

  • @thehouseboardshop damnn, well I live on an island in canada so I guess it costs a bit more to get here so they bump up the prices a bit haha

  • @FierceHD Ahhh... Yeah It seams like the prices in Cananda are always a little higher. Where do you ride?

  • @thehouseboardshop I usually ride street stuff around my city because there isnt a hill thats close to me, but I usually ride Marble Mountain in Corner Brook Newfoundland or I make a road trip with some friends and go to Mont St. Anne in Quebec

  • i have a couple of questions, one what should my board size be, i am 5.2" and weigh about 100 to 105. two when measuring for a board is it more about weight or height?

  • @NJAallday1 Its best to base your board size on your weight. and because you are still growing i would recommend getting something between a 140-145.

  • @thehouseboardshop ok thank you. one more qeustion i have a 2010 burton custom board and its a 135 cm should i sell it and get a new one or could i still use it?

  • @NJAallday1 You could still use it. I would sell it around Christmas and put the money towards a new board.

  • @thehouseboardshop ok thank you for you help

  • I'm an intermediate rider looking for a new setup, leaning towards an all mountain type board, occasionally ride a little switch but i think this is what I'm looking for, plus I'm on a budget. I found a good deal on the 2011 model. I don't do a whole lot of riding, mostly groomed slopes. My only question is would I progress too quickly out of this? Because I have skateboarded/snowboarded most of my life and I have that sense of what feels right on the slopes.

  • is this a good one for the park?

  • @extreamrider48 It would work in the park, but its not a park specific board. Its more of a intermediate all mountain board.

  • @thehouseboardshop so is this board honestly even good for park...? please, im deciding between the GNU Park Pickle 147 and this board in a 138 or 140. im 5'2'' and 105 lbs.last year i used a 140 but it was basicaly too big...do you think i should stay with a 138/140 or go to a 145/147 ?????

  • @zBabaganoush13 The Clash is a soft and forgiving board thanks to the EZ V Rocker profile. it is definitely a very buttery beginner to intermediate board. It has a directional shape which makes it more of all around board. If the 140 felt big last year you should should stick with that size rather than 147 which will feel way too big, based on your experience.

Check out the Lib Tech Lil Ripper140 - It's a twin with Mag and Banana rocker. Sounds like this will be perfect board for you.

  • @thehouseboardshop do you know any other good, soft, park boards in the 138-142 range...? im definitely more of an advanced rider and these are more of beginner boards. like i already had all my other stuff but this year im lookin for some beast hardgoods. like this is my 4th year shreddin

  • @THATMADIRAQI Because I could not find Dave. I decided to would meditate and and try and channel Dave's mind.... and after a few minuets a I heard a loud voice scream out the words CAPITA HORROSCOPE FK!!!!. And then I woke up! Its has a flex rating of 3 and is built for Urban Warfare. This snowboard is for the jib terrorist in us all.

  • @THATMADIRAQI Alright! a man who knows what he needs. We would suggest that you check out he K2 World Wide Weapon. Its a true twin with the one of the widest stance options available. At the price of 379.95 this board would leave you some cash in your pocket to pick up a new pair of boots or put some money towards a great pair of union bindings.
