  • damn these guys nailed it. My favorite song by the Who. The bassist looks and plays like john entwistle too

  • That's how it's done right there! Pretty d%^&# good cover. Kudos.

  • I honestly thought that this was actually the who playing, then I got confused, why do they look so young? and why is this a classic rock station? And then I found out this is a cover band. Wow, my appluse.

  • This is authentically amazing - the Entwistle dude and moon !! Wow !! Exact !!

  • Kool lookin' Keith!!!

  • ベースの人かっけぇ

  • Your John and Keith should have replaced them in the real band....so much better then Kenny Jones and the session bassists that replaced John.

  • Keith is alive!!!!!

  • Well Done!

  • Best tribute band ever - the guy is John Entwistle's doppelganger - even slouches like him!

  • 0_0 i got fooled again, that was impressive.

  • Only criticism I have is the guitarist should be playing an SG. Pete never played a Les Paul during his boiler suit phase. Everything else is perfect though. Even the amplifier configuration is exactly how The Who did it. The drums and amps must have cost those guys a fortune.

  • WTF, these guys are awesome, they nail it in both sound and appearance, what the Hell is up with that crowd.

  • The best one is the fake John

  • crowd looks like the night of the living dead.

  • Bloody awesome!!!!!!

  • These guys ROCK!!!!!!!!

  • fucking amazing!!

  • This is pretty awesome.

  • Very, very impressive.

  • wow...i was fooled unitl i started reading the comments. no close ups, particualrly of petes lookalike, really had me thinking these guys were the real deal. awesome job guys !

  • Hey! This is very very FUN! LOL! Great Tribute!!

    I really moved!

  • Wow so cool!♪ "Can you see the real me, can you?" ♪

  • Great Roger take off.

  • Rare to see such attention to detail and top level musicianship in any tribute act; these guys have both and more.

    Absolutely awesome!!!

  • two keith moons ........ maybe it is the parallel universe thing

  • These guys do an amazing job!

  • I Picked up the bass at 12 and learned all the bass lines on "Quadrophenia" in a few months. A few years back this Who tribute places an ad "Entwistle needed" so I jumped at it...thought "Oh I can nail this". Well, after 30 years of bass playing in many different styles and 1 week of re-learning these bass lines, I was so humbled by by Entwistle's completely unique playing style, I had to call back and bow out. My point? Hat's off to the guy in this video...it's a lot harder than it looks!!!!!

  • That was awesome. Amazing rhythm section. Not to mention, nice Daltrey vocal.

  • NIce! Love the stack of Coliseum 880's

  • your drummer ..... thats Keith.

  • Awesome cover, but I can't stand the crowd, who the hell do they think they are sitting around like a bunch of fat fucks?!

  • Best Who cover I have ever heard. Not many cover bands can duplicate Keith and John well enough to have any cred at all, but these guys bring it well. Very well done.

  • Shit! That guy sounds like Daltrey!

    A good tribute band!

  • Kurt, Awesome bass playing, I'd swear it was JAE !

  • WUT! This dude actually plays like The Ox.

    The singer is just perfect.

  • where did you get dose drums

  • Good stuff &a good job the Hells Angels were there to hold back that wild audience.

  • I thought this was actually the who since the bassist looks just like John. I was wondering why the crowd was so limp!

  • Ah yessss,,,,the WHO...Detroit style!

  • what kind of audience is this??? :)

  • Wow, nicely done guys - hard band to cover!

  • props to the bass player.. takes some skill to play bass like the ox, and with the same effortless expression at that.

  • i'm 14 and i am the only person my age that i know who thinks the who kicks ass. and i want that fenderbird

  • that skeleton suit made me smile :)

  • WOW !!!!

  • @livethewho WHO cares!!! I like it!!!

  • este man es realmente bueno!!!!, is really good!!!, similart to John Entwistle!!

  • Great stuff - drums and bass sound great - the bass part is difficult and the bass player was just ace! Well done guys!

  • Great job. I had to do a double take before I realized it wasn't really The Who.

  • This cover band plays exactly like The Who ND LOOKS SO SIMILAR...amazing.

    94.7 WCSX Detroit's Classic Rock Station...YEAH baby!

  • I don't usually much care for tribute acts but you have to hand it to these guys: great job!

  • Muy parecidos a los ogininales!!! Felicitaciones!!!!

  • Well ...! Listen ......... to John Entwistle ... the best bassplayer who ever lived. No Paul Mcarthney, No Novacelick, No Stanley Clarrke, No Jaco Pastorius ... John Ruled!!!!!!!! :-p

  • Unreal. This cat NAILS the OX, and he rest of the band is wicked! This a true tribute!!!!

  • The crowd is really jumpin, or lack thereof.

  • WoW......utterly amazing!

  • Fu...ing great!!!!!!!!Bass is amasing, drums to, great guitar sound, just a lack of Unvivox Super FUZZ sound Maybeee!

  • Pretty impressive and it is one of my favorite underrated Who songs.

    Great job guys!

    LOVE LIVE ROCK!

  • Incredible job mates... I didn't realize it was a cover until the close ups!

  • Lmfao

  • Love that stack of Sunn amplification.

  • wow the drummer look exactly like keith moon

  • The guy playing bass here should have replaced John, rather then some session bassist....He's got it down pretty good...

  • @rogan71 it's better not to try to replace John... they chose whisely for the session bassist (pino palladino) so he could play it his way. seriously trying to replacing john is an instand fail. (the guy in the video is doing a good job though but it's still a tribute to)

  • Amazing!

  • REALLY AMAZING!

  • REALLY AMAZING!

  • Almost looks like a Fenderbird!

  • Wow, these really have the moves down! The shots form stage right really, really look like the Who.

  • 94.7 is pretty much the only radio station I listen too, every other station in Detroit sucks

  • did u make the fenderbird copy urself? or did u order it from somewhere? if so WHERE!

  • Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • One of the very very best tribute bands I ever saw on youtube... plus, it's an almost impossible task emulating everyone of those very unique musicians, and they really do the job!

  • Excellent cover.

  • i like how the guitarist dresses like Pete in his white jumpsuit :D

  • and how the John is dressed up like john in the skeleton suit!

  • Five stars! Excellent job guys!

  • the guy who did entwistle did pretty job. Not so much much on the singer though.

  • 1:05, those girls have had enough :o

  • better than what's left of the who!

  • Wow, I'd never thought I'd say this. But this is an amazing cover band.

  • Were the audience dead?

  • hey dude

i play bass also i am a giant who fan

i love the bass and you have the john finger technique down

take care man it sounds really good

  • hehe they could easily just be their tribute just for their looks, but they can plays well too, they cans ^^

  • excellent

  • is the audience dead?..............lol

  • Excellent! je me suis laissé "avoir" les premières secondes, je n'avais pas vu qu'il s'agissait d'un "cover"... Impressionnant de réalisme... et de mimétisme!

  • They even have vintage equipment..Damn these guys are good..

  • not bad for a cover band the singer even sounds like Daltrey.

  • This is great! Awesome tribute.

  • excellent Entwistle impression :)

  • Same style as John Entwistle

  • Very Impressive! Great cover band.. The Who who should be impressed with this cover.. Great Job guys.

  • That guy nailed the Ox quite nicely right down to the Fenderbird. Real nice!

  • And what a sexy fenderbird!

  • @clank4001 he just needs to grow a real beard :)

  • @clank4001 Sunn amps too...pretty much dead on. Hiwatts on the guitar, too.

  • Comment removed

  • This is a great COVER BAND!!!

  • The singer is too tense

He needs more shiite to shoot or snort, or maybe he should just smoke pot and use it only on stage.

I wish I could sing as good as this guy.

  • The guitarist should go to Michael J ackson's plastic surgean and have his nose enlarged. Or he could have it repeatedly broken by starting fights in bars. Now THAT would be commitment!!!!!.

  • Wow.You had me there for the first few seconds!

  • I thought for a minute that this was the original WHO group. These guys are amazing!!!

  • this is great! actually thought for a sec that it was the real thing...

  • A few forwarding, un pò in accelerando.Comunque ottima la copiatura!

  • Yeah, what a waste of a venue to play this gem. Must have took alot of work. Major props.

  • something else........ I thought this was 1972

  • Great cover chaps, shame the audience is a pile of shit!

  • i love this...

  • Wow... Unreal, I can't believe you guys hit this so well! Always thought it one of those untouchable songs (bass & drums anyway). Ox would certainly be proud of that bass playing!

Congrats on killer, kick-assed maximum capacity jam!

  • That was somethin' else to see. I was almost fooled. Love it!

  • nothin can beat the real thing

  • fcandfm3000,

Why are you knocking these guys? They aren't claiming to be better than The Who and no Who fan would say that's the case. They're a tribute band and that's what they call themselves and they're unbelievably good at what they do. Why do people like you have to turn everything into a goddamned contest?

  • You guys rock! awesome cover

  • Damn, good Entwistle impersonation haha

  • Great playing! Cool jacket too :)

  • sounds and looks like the real thing - maximum Rock n Roll !

  • love the fenderbird

  • big shame..

  • Oi! i pay a lot of money to get my hair like that!!! this is mint - and i'm possesive as hell about the Who. top !

  • Nice Job guys! The Who 4 ever!!!!!

  • Good work fellas!

  • Wow! Very Nice!

  • LOL!!! It's a WIG!!! heheheh... Which is why I can't REALLY do Keith and get too crazy. ugh!

  • eh just tape some headphones over it and no worries!!! xD

  • I feel bad for the drummer doing Moon...Wearing that haircut in this day and age...

  • Good job lads... the Ox rocks!

  • That's a scary good impression of Moon.

    9/10

  • Great bass rig! Nice Job man!

  • you are actors..not musicans!

  • very very incredible drumming!!!!

  • Dude...anybody who could point out the "10 incorrect things" is missing the point. Very, very, very nice work.

  • Thats a Fender T-Bird yes?

  • ...vergognatevi

  • great job...not an easy song!

  • Tell the bass player he rocks.

  • the singer isn't that good

  • he ain't perfect but i guess it's quite hard to sing this song controlling ones emotions

  • Very awesome!

  • pete had stopped wearing the white jumpsuit long before quadrophenia came out....SG goes with the jumpsuit, not a LP.

  • WOW! It's the 'Ooribble Bizarro 'Oo!!!

    I love it!

    Nice job!

    Long Live Rock!!!!

  • Hilarious....those two little girls get up and leave with their fingers in their ears!!! hahahaha

  • Wow I know that shit is loud because at 00:15 you can see the stage shaking

  • lol 1:10, people are leaving with there hands covering there ears, thats when you know your a good who tribute!

    5 stars.

  • Damn! Nice cover!

The John and Keith guys kinda actually look like John and Keith!

    Great performance!

  • errm...isnt that john and keith?

  • My god you guys even have the era correct equipment not to mention the sound, playing and stage presence. IMPRESSIVE!!!!

  • Did Moon use a high hat on this?

  • oh my god please kill me otherwise better i jump from a big bridge

  • Holy shit awesome

  • this is excellent, even to my jaded ears and eyes, love the hybrid bass!!!!

  • that was pretty awesome i thought it was actually the who for a minute

  • Townshend need to bounce around a bit more!

And, Is that a clone of Entwistle?

    Awesome cover band.

  • buen trabajo muchachos...

    saludos...

    y que viva the who!!!

  • 1:13

watch the people leave the front row from the volume they play at.

    Just like the real Who.

  • goddamn you guys are fucking good. the only difference is you're not actually the who and there's no horns and such.

it's a little nutty how you guys look exactly like the who, but hey that's the only way to be TRULY authentic!! haha you guys are a riot, I was going to see this show but I had work...taht was a goofy choice on my part

  • i know these guys arnt the real who but damn the guy on bass is pretty damn cloase

  • he even looks like john

  • you guys are epic!!!

  • 本物かと思った。

  • Looks like The Who to me! I don't see or hear the difference...amazing!!!

  • dude it took me a year to learn the cd version perfectly

  • YES!! That IS John Entwistle! We dug him up!(you can tell by the bones) Rest assured, John is alive and well with Live the Who!

  • The bass player!!

  • yes he plays and move like john entwistle!

    it's impressive

  • I asume that when you say "moves" you mean doesn't move

  • Great cover band. Bassist has the Ox nailed. Very good Moon as well.

Was too engrossed watching the bassist to comment on singer and guitarist but you guys sound awesome.

  • Oh man you guys were superb. For a few secs I didn't know what I was looking at and actually thought if was The Who. Brilliant.

  • best cover on youtube and they are exactly like the real who,the voice the drum the guitar and entwistle is absolutely like the real bassist. good very good.

    ps:w the who

  • OMG I am buds with the bass player curt

  • I'd swear that was John Entwistle playing. You've got his fretwork down pat. Excellent job all the way around!

  • Good, sounds just like them, only not as good. Seriously though, I am not into the tribute band thing, if you don't think the real thing is enough I don't know what is.

  • where did the drummer get his drum set? its almost exactly like keiths

  • AMAZING KEITH!! best tribute drummer i've seen for the who. he looks and plays like him!! freaking amazing!!!

  • I was at the show, but can see what you mean in this video. Although, if you watch any other The Who performance of The Real Me, Pete plays this song pretty straight.

I'd have to say that this Pete did own the stage, since I was at the show. For the most part his feet were rarely on the ground or wrestling the guita
