I suspect that this is not an aggressive type of snakeheads, as there are many species. If it were an aggressive type, all the other fish in the tank would have been eaten by it.

@oilcraze there is no "aggressive type" of snakeheads. They all are predators and hunt for food. They dont just kill everything in their path for fun like the dumbass US govt. thought and banned them. And no they dont walk on ground for miles or eat babies.

yours is not aggressive because it was cached in very small size and raised to be a big one if it was cached in big size he would've shred your oscars apart

The fish @ 0:21 is a Snakehead... I am so confused on how you have that snakehead in there and it's not completely demolishing the others???!!! At least the oscars I can see not messing with Aro but that snakehead aught to be ripping the oscars in half... whats your secret? I am awaiting the arrival of my 225 and plan on housing monsters and I wanted a snakehead but feared it would kill everything else.

he is very tame and most of the time he lays on the bothem

you can try to get one but you need to watch out for them i cant say if it works or not

and maybe some polyptheres species some big american chichilds or a fire eel

catfish species like red tail or shovelnose or the clarius batragus (my other vids)

@dutchmonsterfish yeah i saw these types of fish and they are very common. actually i was thinking of getting a fire eel but I heard they jump at any given time, and they are escape masters and that i should always be prepared when feeding, and im not too proud of that. my tesselata is 54'7 in and it for some reason doesn't try to escape, even at night. but i heard most eels do. i had a green eel and it was huge, i forget the length though, but its jumped up and bit me. pretty horrible bite.

danku voor de latijnse namen,ja idd die botias zijn wat minder maar ah het vrouwtje mag ook es wat he.heb er me 3 aangeschaft en verblijven momenteel in mn aquariumtable v aquatlantis 1meter op 1 meter tesamen met mn scalares en discussen dus.de kleine rakkers zouden anders niet lang meegaan.zo een spatelbek zal je waarschijnlijk zo een pseudoplatystoma fasciatum bedoelen,heb er ook zo ene maar groeit erg traag en is schuchter visje,(bij mij toch.)dus ook tesamen voorlopig in de tafel.

vlindervis is het neefje van de arowana word zo een 11 cm dacht ik

en is ook roofzuchtig ik heb hier ook een spatelbek zitten is erg gaaf

bedankt vo de info;heb in tss mn bakje besteld.1.5 meter op 50 op 50.375liter lijkt me voldoende om mee te beginnen vo mn rtc en pseudoplatystoma tigrinum.ze hebn me ook angeraden om er clownbotias bij te steken???lijkt me raar maar idd wordn ook tamelijk grote beestjes en zijn wel stug.anders idd de arowana vindik echt sjiek maar mn vrouwtje ziet dat monster in de badkamer niet zitten dus daar gaat mn idee.nu denkik gewoon de oscars erbij en zo een green terros zie ik hier ook vaak.

sjieke tank,echt wreed. hebbeen rtc zo een redtail catfish en zoek nog wat gezelschap voor erbij en jou tank deed me wel e paar ideetjes krijgen.arowana en e pangasius sanitwongsei denkik aan.twijfel wel nog tss een 1.5 m of een 2 meter vo in me badkamer.eens wat anders e.

@derruf hey bedankt voor je reactie pangasius kan ik je echt afraden

ik heb ze weg gedaanw want ze werden te groot en ze hebben een hele harde kop waarmee ze alles slopen soms was ik gewoon bang dat ze door de bak gingen :)

ze zijn ook erg lomp en schrikkerig pauwoogen zijn ook erg gaaf ik heb hier een koppel echt super elke maand eitjes, Arowana is voor mij gewoon de mooiste vis die er is maar ook mijn meest happerige vis ik kan mijn deksels niet eens open doen of hij springt en bijt me :)

clarius batrachus is ook wel geinig worden heel tam dat zijn ook meervallen (zie mijn andere videos snake heads zijn erg gaaf maar heel moeilijk bij andere vissen te krijgen (ik heb erg geluk) ik heb 5 aquariums dus als je vragen heb Ask me :)

heb heel veel roofvissen gehad zelfs stukje van mijn vingertop is afgebeten geweest door piranha's :)

and the tank still is great running my oscars have eggs all the time

if your water is dirty fish gets unhealty

and unhealty fish will be eated by other fish
