  • From 1:50 to 2:19 there workers under the load - in Canada you will have a thorough investigation from health and safety..

  • Is the same in each country and in the European Union: Workers can not be under the load in "normal" liftings. But this is not a normal lifting. This is a engineered lifting. You must do a project and calculations prior maneouvre, writting a complete procedure with a risks analisys. Think: ¿How do you do the assembly of the base frame of the turbine? without guys under the load.

    Bye.

  • @Mrcometo so you are arguing the situation from 1:50 to 2:19 ????

  • You can see that the turbine is static. The movement was done by de trayler. Next operation is to fix the base frame (you can see this element in the rear of the trayler, waiting to be fixed to the turbine). While you are fixing the frame, the turbine is stayed by the lifting sistem. From 2:19 to 2:44 is the same form 1:50 to 2:19. (continues)

  • But I must admit you that there was unnecesary the worker that you can see walking over the trayler, were there. I think this man exposed himself to an unexpected problem (machines in movement) and I think that this man must be sancioned and the safety inspector must have payed more attention.

  • @Mrcometo and @Fix0a0project

You are right both. This was an engineered movement, but the workers who walked over the trailer were reprimanded.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks. It was in Spain.
