@BoyGenteel No, because both songs are derivative of a lot of other things while still being legitimately original. Neither song exists in a vacuum devoid of musical antecedents. This sounds a heck of a lot like The Knitters as far as that goes, though Of Monsters and Men does not. Duets, Horn lines & whistling have a long history in popular music, neither group has an exclusive claim to their use.
