the newest verison v1.3b fixes alot of issues with the CDVD drive...my vid demos are based on v1.2c with the older fix by ffgriver which fixes alot of the cdvd not stopping the spinning of the disc and such.

Swap Magic - Boot>Insert SW disc>Boot>Swap disc>Load>Play

Now which seems easier? You're just a newbie still in the learning phase. By the way, why 3.8? That shit is hella buggy. 3.6 Plus is better.

QUESTION? So after looking into the Indepence hack, my question: Is VAST going to be able to boot up original Japanese PS2 or PS1 discs? In the video, ya'll are only booting up UK discs and the Independence exploit supposedly only works on US/UK games and not Japanese. If that's the case, VAST will be totally worthless to me.

Just need it to play my PS2/ps1 imports. So, is this basically a normal memory card with a program (.elf file?) on it? If so, don't really need to buy it. Just download the file and put it on a card using something like AR MAX.

The question is, will this work with only with the old PS2 (ver 1-11), or will it also work for the PSTwo (ver 12-16)? I know the Independence Exploit doesn't work on the PSTwo (at least that's according to the Wikipedia article), so I'm guessing Vast isn't using that to run...
