  • ALL TIME FAVORITE JOHNNY BOY TUNES DAM WHAT A GREAT SONG, AND I KNOW BETTER ! Took me a week of playing it non stop til me mum hide the album from me. I had to buy another one just to mess with her head. Sadly learned it on an ole SEARS Silver Tone LOVE and TORTURE.

  • @PaulMcCartneyNP de trollear le mandas tonto como lo sabes viendo una de una de mis MILLONES DE RESPUESTAS A LA MISMA PREGUNTA ASIQUE LEE ANTES DE HABLAR

  • .....

  • But the King had only wild child!

  • The ending could have replaced "Long Long Long" and the album would have sold so much better. Just saying. ;)

  • Why is this song so underrated?I think people simply do not know it. They should.

  • I love Paul's short "can you take me back" at the end

  • it would have been cool if they were still yougn and together and if 2 of them didnt die

  • @louisrocks77 or if paul hadnt died in 66 an was still the original paul

  • @HarryCHAMBZ lol thats fake, its a myth, he never died, hes still alive with ringo, george and john are only dead

  • fui el número 56.000 en ver este video...

    xd

temazo de john lennon, mu favorito, o uno de mis favoritos, aunque no sea muy conocido

  • My favorite White Album track. Haunting is the best way I can describe it.

  • Although I played bass in a band during the Beatles era and my bass playing style was often compared to McCartney's, I always associated more with John Lennon during their run and after their demise. Probably his writing and singing style. And I still do. I hardly play bass anymore, mostly just acoustic guitar. Lennon's music lives on.

  • @JoyNoelle8H sure thing, read the whole entry, it is really good

  • This song has hidden messages in it. To find out what they are, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Show this to every Beatles fan you know.

  • that conversation at the end is the beginning of revolution 9.

  • i have to pee

  • itz amazing that there are zero dislikes, the beatles are truly loved♥

  • I fucking love that piano.

  • i love the ending

  • @comicnic

the ending is "Can you take me back" which was going to be a original song by itself, but they decided just to add a small portion of it to the end of this song.

  • @Rush1013

    i know

you can here the full version on youtube

  • At their peak, pure art and yet still a pop song, no wonder the Beatles and Lennon especially were so respected and the music timeless.

  • his voice is so beautiful

  • John wrote this song inspired by a tv commecial that showed a baby crying after a comment by her mother.

  • MORAISITO - music AMETISTA = the best

  • excellent

  • One of my favorite Ringo drumming moments, from 0:42 to 0:58. I kind of wished he had used that drum pattern more throughout the song. He uses it in the outro to Sexy Sadie. It's an unusual way of playing the hi-hat that wasn't heard much at that time. Someone like Bernard Purdie might have done that, but slightly different.

  • @Mr26Rocio The whole album rocks!

  • Happy 70th John!

You may have said that this song was 'rubbish', but I greatly disagree with you!

  • beatiful and excellent song..!!!

  • this songs not haunting.. its chilling..

  • i love the ending

  • i betcha a dollar a donut... the album representation here.. they'd make it sound like some big ol' time rock and roll band! (sorry, many remarks made back in the 50's in the usa going "what? where's the orchestra? or the rest of the band? then hear the sighs bridging.. *gee, these producers are dumbasses*) it was even said of elvis' group back then... :D ah 4 to 3 pieces or less days.

  • This is one of, if not my absolute, favorite song from the whit album.

And I love how it uses the "Can you take me bacK" outtake. Or at least part of it :)

  • @frazypeeps - Yep...a classic..the anthology version of 'Cry Baby Cry' is also worth checking out...stunning version! While you're at it check out my new vids for '...Me And My Monkey' and 'Flying'.

  • @frazypeeps I think I read somewhere that this was a 100% Paul McCartney little track.

  • @JustinSage

What I can't believe is that John hated Run For Your Life too! It's got such a great tune! And didn't he help write it?

  • The drumming is just fantastic.

  • This is a beautiful and frightening song. It always sounds like John is writing about ghosts that inhabit some ancient British Manor where they died, including a baby. The "Can You Take Me Back" part even sounds like a creepy coda, as if one of the ghosts is wanting to return to our world. Play this song in the dark

  • John hated this song...but it sounds sooooo cool! What am I supposed to do?

  • This is the first time I've heard this song...shame on me!!! I can't believe I've never heard such an excellent Beatles song...I only heard the end on Beatles LOVe.

  • super music =)

  • whats this song about?

  • @skeins0000 About crying. :)

  • these are the more interesting songs of the beatles. much more than their obvious hits.

  • Bellissima!

  • i like the "can you take me back" part

  • The grooves these dudes came up was incredible.

  • What a creepy song. I mean that in a good way, though.

  • i heart the beatles! and i heart this song! its really......moving(:

  • excellent, if you wanna relax you have to hear this

  • Nice quaility.

You can even hear some mumbling at about 3:08... I reckon it problably says something about Paul being dead :P

  • @Hyrix6 Lol

  • @Hyrix6 Hate to ruin your comment but he either ringo or john is apoligizing to george about somthing to do with a carrot.

  • @jackthack1 nope. George Martin and Alistair Taylor are talking. Alistair forgot George's whine and promises to get him one next time.

  • @WackyJaclyn I ment 'wine', obviously.

  • the Beatles are the best ever i thike this song :)

  • when i hear this song i feel even more in love than i really am...just cannot explain it!!

  • One of my favorites of the White Album!

  • @MrPekingCat I think I'm So Tired is the best on the White Album.

  • @MrPekingCat i agree very underated song along with im so tired and rain

  • @awesomeahow rain was not on the album

    HFS.
