  • Dude, you have a really distorted view of religion.

  • I like Laci in spite of her being short.

  • The idea of the Matrix was borrowed from the 16th century philosopher René Descartes. In a nutshell he stated that the only thing we can be sure of is that in some form, state that we exist.

  • I WANNA BLOG SO BAD IT HURTS DAMMIT!!!

  • The matrix was a statement on religion, Morpheus was science or reason exposing evidence. However, he, Morpheus was also nearly a religion bbecause he had to make Neo have faithh but at least he has evidence for that requirement.

  • Not touching the chest issue. I opine the real religion of man top be the adoration of nature in all her forms. I do not ascribe to anything religion has to say about how life came about because it ends up to be the same as superstition. You know witches were in fact our first medical doctors. You can yell at me oif you want, I can't hear you.

  • if she didnt have her chest in view would anyone listen?

  • To be fair she does raise a valid point upon which religion does appear to enforce. If religion was a sure of its assertions as they claim what would they fear with individual investigations?

  • @g2thumbs1 well, if there is a True religion, and it states that there is a false version that wants to destroy it, i think the false one would go to great lengths to hide its falseness, and harm the Truth. For example, turn universities into factories producing secularized, labotomized driveling apes with worthless philosophy degrees ... hiding archeological evidence ...

  • Great video. Thanks :)

    joseph

  • I can't help but think all these comments would seem deeper if I was twenty years younger...and high. In my current aged, sober state they seem rather sophomoric.

  • Is the existence of matter really empirically verifiable? How can we prove anything exists outside the mind?

  • @MeLlamoBradly I get really high and ponder this question alot :P

  • @MeLlamoBradly It is a neat theory, but the fact is that pain is pain and walls are impossible to walk through.

  • @MeLlamoBradly Walk through a wall. You will realize shortly you have walked through a door. The door was opened by taking your hand, an appendage of your mind, and turning the doorknob. Now, because my mind recognizes something that is not mind, the appendage, and the appendage acts on something that is not the mind nor the appendage, then this could be that which is called matter. Daily observations and experience gives credibility to the existence of matter. . .

  • @itheemartian I believe that matter does exist... but the point is it cannot be proven 100%. Everything empiricists base their observations on can be doubted. I can take atheism to the next level and say "well, there isn't any empirical evidence to prove anything exists outside of our own minds. This could all just be a dream or psychotic state." You can take skepticism to the point where it's just ridiculous. If there is not a mind to perceive these things then how can they exist?

  • @MeLlamoBradly Dig that. I completely agree. The only thing I cannot shake is where do the ideas even come from if everything is just a projection of my mind? How does a mind create images from nothing external to itself to stimulate that which the senses and/ or "imagination" allows us to fathom and comprehend? If I didn't have any senses and was mute, would I have thoughts? How could one doubt a thing, if he/ she/ it has never experienced any thing?

  • @itheemartian those questions are perfect examples of why it is completely reasonable to assume matter exists. Which is exactly why I believe in an outside world. It is also reasonable to doubt it- but why? It would be a miserable existence to doubt the existence of everything. The point is atheists put their faith in things that aren't entirely "empirically verifiable". Empiricism is self-refuting. I don't think atheism is unreasonable, but it isn't any more reasonable than (a)atheism.

  • You act as if believing in a higher power is actually hurting you personally, people believing in God does not effect you, so why do you speak against them as if you have a problem? If you were to actually read the bible, or whatever you wish. 99% of religions are about being good people in the eyes of their god. Are their bad people who follow religions? Yes, there are bad atheists as well. I see you making a lot of videos questioning religion as if it's a bad thing, Do you take it personally?

  • @sherman614

    What is schizophrenia?

  • @sherman614 I'll answer that: yes. Belief in a higher power has enabled and emboldened people to make claims of what is right and wrong throughout history, and persists to this day. This has been enforced through tyranny, lies, and misinformation. Anything that goes against the higher powers has been repressed, science fought for centuries and still fights to show that their is more to know of this universe than 'God' can ever explain. 'God' is no substitute for thinking... so uym.

  • @tjstevens74

It's very closed minded to say "use your mind" And not even think that you may be wrong. Shouldn't "Using your mind" leave you open to many possibilities? You say that people who believe in a higher power close out other options, but aren't you doing the same thing? Don't be a hypocrite. I choose to believe what I want, You can do the same. But don't say that it's closed minded for people to think differently as you do.

  • Neo is Jesus... That's why he had to die at the end. Duh.

  • ALSO, I SERIOUSLY LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDS, U RULE!!!

  • Yo, Laci, whats the backround music, iv'e wanted to know for a while, sounds pretty cool

  • The Matrix is about society and culture as the ultimate tools of imprisonment. Religion is just a part of culture that only some Americans follow, but ALL Americans follow the religion of consumer capitalism, which ironically goes against everything religion is supposed to be teaching.

  • @Elwood128, What 99.90% of them really follow is a religion that says we're all slaves for others and this is alright for the machines which don't care as long as people don't start using their head to think reason with, because this will as the story tells us, disconnect the body from the womb-like cell they are cought up in. Basically the movie is a huge hit against altruism and got nothing against consumption which only serves life. We got to eat. You got it all wrong. Search info or STFU!

  • @Idol2011no Hey dumbass, they were floating in nutrient sustenance absorbable through the skin.

  • @Daremo423, what in my text do you believe you contradict?

  • cheak "the arrivels seriers" on youtube if you want the truth

  • nothing is real, everything is based on a system or a set of rules and regulations, speaking strictly in social way. The only real things are life and death. Combine sleep food and sex as a basis to life, that's real. Everything else is a system and a theory that we chose to support as real or as fake.

  • @peanutsmcgee1 objects of experience are also real regardless of whether or not they exist outside of consciousness or life.

  • gogreen: lalala matrix lalala religion

my thoughts:: should i jack off? yes! no its wrong... yes! no...

  • @Mystyplx

Well if not religion, what else can society turn to learn what our values should be? Not the media or enternet because all they show now is obnoxious discrasefull people,

Religion does not have to be something to base your life on and im not saying that people should beleave what they are told they should just listen to the stories and take what they are saying; whicth i bet is way better than anything we can find in reality

  • I think your focusing too much on religion, whicth could or could not be something that is true. The way i see it; religion is a way to escape the problems, a way to keep hope and beleave there is a reason to do good. Relegion is just something to help people realize there moral values and to help keep some order in our societys,

Again: i cant get over the fact of how obsolute flawless you seem. I really like your eyes!

  • @131418junior

But religion is a crutch for moral values. It's a way of abdicating responsibility to figure out what YOU think is right or wrong by letting a book, or a preacher spoon feed you the answers. I suppose some people need that, but it's not the best way to go about it.

  • She rite..she's more open mind than a lot of plz.i know n she cute

  • Girl.. ok, weed, take a hit and read The Book Of Enoch. It might lead u on a new path understanding Why the world is a monarchy prison. And as long as you don't pretend to be half ok with society and the 'matrix' douctrines, which is everything you think you know, education system, history.. ..then u go n watch all of ancient aliens. thats it..piece it together

  • oh and lovely cleavage

  • you are high in all your videos. your quite colorfull when your blazed :)

  • This purely fictitious world is tobe differentiated from theworld of dreams; the later atleast reflects reality, whereas the former falsifies it,cheapens it and denies it.Once the concept of "nature" had been opposed to the concept of "God," the word "natural" necessarily took on themeaning of "abominable"thewhole of that fictitious world has its sources in hatred of the natural (the real!),and is no more than evidence of a profound uneasiness in the presence of reality. This explains everything.

  • i love the fact that your talking about things like this. but... i must say that we should seperate religion from god.

  • omgg man you are so right I just saw it haha oh godd

  • Comment removed

  • She is so stoned in this video; just look at the eyes.

    Somebody used eye-drops!! :D

  • fuck your hot omg

  • i;d like to blow my load in her matrix!pheww

  • You are all in the wrong. If everyone was unplugged from "the system" there would be too many random ideas floating about. Too many opinions. Instead of order, what you would have is chaos. Systematic thinking keeps the masses tame, docile, and good.

  • @MightyPhalus I'd rather be free amongst chaos than docile amongst sheep.

  • @kurtywurty85 Then you are promoting anarchy!?

  • @MightyPhalus Yes. Yes I am. Well, I mean obviously we need some order as a society...I just mean, what if the matrix was real? I wouldn't continue to live a lie. Obviously not everyone would choose to "revolt". Some would take the blue pill and they would never learn the truth. I believe that it's smart to question things, and I agree that it's not good to be too comfortable. People have told me that I think too much...maybe that isn't always a bad thing.

  • @kurtywurty85 In the sense of the Matrix, I agree, one should be able to choose. But in reality, sports and video games are our Matrix, and these types of things keep the lesser minded in check and I say that's a good thing. Those people that say you think too much are the lesser.

  • @MightyPhalus Fair enough. It's okay to be comfortable sometimes, but I also feel that if one accepts everything as it is and chooses not to analyze certain things, they're kind of living a lie.

  • I see religion being like the Oracle in the matrix. Another tool of control of the political and economic elite who really run things.

  • The matrix is the government the battery is the taxes you generate as a slave the blackend sky is the chemtrails ... you plug in to learn that is the internet. The federal reserve is the monster running the whole program.

  • Forgive me. First, I love your take on it all. Really astute. But how can one dispel anything without sufficient evidence if - as you stated - it is impossible to ascertain whether or not we exist inside of some sort of Matrix?

  • OMG! The Red Pill and The Blue Pill are not Acid and Roofies or whatnot. They are a Placebo needed to make the commitment to whatever you already believe. GOGREEN18 Religion is only ONE aspect of the Matrix. And Nice Tits!

  • @StrangeIsMyWorld I disagree... Not condoning drugs but drugs can open pathways in the brain that are closed down by the leaders and religious groups that are prevalent today. In recent society they use the media and chemicals i.e fluoride as found in our drinking water...

    This girl is well aware............

  • i kno ur REAL cute ;) haha

  • Good shit! Giving power to the people.

  • Seriously Do you marry me? you are a real beauty plus smart!!!!!!!!!!! You can be the best mother for my kids for sure! The ones we have together!

  • I’m big on freedom. Anyone can do or think whatever they want as long as they aren’t harming or endangering anyone else. Sounds simple enough, but brings up allot of interesting questions. For myself, I choose the red pill. However, I will appose removing the option of the blue pill.. Do I fight the machines knowing the matrix will be destroyed? Ideology Vs. Reality. Philosophy, I dig it.

  • With freedom there will always be harm, always!

It doesn't have to be 7 billion people but just 2 people with a different perception.

  • the red pill is totaly acid

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL Sarcasm is not befitting some one like you who is created in God's image and likeness...............

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaa...vibrator on the floor...looks like pink!

  • Id let her take the morning after pill, for sure...

  • Or you take no pill. and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The work of God is to believe upon His Son Jesus. Jesus came to this world to destroy the work of the devil and to set mankind free from the bondage to sin, and for the forgiveness of man's sin. The Matrix is a mockery. "The One" is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, not Neo.......and Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit, not the heroine.......know Jesus, and the truth shall set you free

  • @eirwal777 jesus who?

  • @Felderos Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of God the Father, the Truth, the Life and the Way, who came that there might be the remission of sins for all mankind.....The Lord who said "Love your neigbor as yourself"

  • i always drew that link between the red and blue pill and religion

    got there first!

  • i have taken a vote and you are the worst person ever minus Hitler and people who kill kittens

  • You make atheism hot.

  • i had to watch this twice...got lost in the eyes xD

  • Wow dont understand how your so much like my friend. Out of the to video I have seen from you I swear I felt like I was talking to her.

  • FUCK, you're beautiful

  • i just recently watchd the MATRIX FILMS MYSELF..and i noticed that in the films it seemd like the rain inside the matrix represented the code in the program when neo was unplugged from the MATRIX...also did you know that neo also stands for one?!!..and in all three films you see the red pill blue pill scenerio in just about every scene of all three films?..also keanu reaves said that he will reprise his role as NEO IN THE fourth and fith films.

  • i love your video!!!!!! that was amazing and you are very intelligent. please keep it up!

  • OK.....it's uncommon to see a brainy (psychology expert) female that is as good looking as you. How old are you If I may know? even though I dont know your age I want to tell you that we will meet one day. Do you BELIEVE in destiny? To me love which is friendship is far more important than lust (sex). I want to meet you and become friends and God (destiny) willing I will. Beauty is a valuable thing. In time all will be beautiful. God bless and keep you.

  • @EsotericTengu She's 22 i think, and she's an atheist. just saying

  • I'm a Solipsist and you're a cute product of my mind.. read Descartes.

  • THATS NOT A TOASTER DUMBASSES! IT'S A BOX OF BABY WIPES!!!!LOL

  • i wish i could have a girlfriend intelligent and pretty as her

people who are religious are plain dumb, for fucks sake

  • I think that's fuckin hot just imagining what she does to herself with that!

  • DONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • intense

  • welll um ur toaster is suppose to be in ur kitchen

    and also....nvm

  • YES! I've always thought that the matrix was an allegory for religion, this video is so true

  • God can't be judged by our standards because he exists outside of reality.

well then if he's outside of reality then he's not real. i wonder if religious people ever notice that they are the best proof against their beliefs.

  • In fact, the Matrix is a Gnostic Christian based movie. I know that as I am a Gnostic Christian. My belief is that the entire universe is an illusion. We are all programs and how we handle it depends on going into the real world or if we will be deleted (No Hell). There is a Satan but he is also a program created to go evil (How can one show good if the world didn't have evil). Watch the movie and you will understand. Another Gnostic Christian movie is The Truman Show... same storyline.

  • I love that you used the matrix as a comparison to religion, because I found the selfsame comparison after having watched it

  • @gogreen18

So glad i took blue pill *erection*

  • Religion is just one tool of many that are used by governments to subdue the masses.

  • @StreetArtillery Speaking as a Gnostic Christgian, you are historically correct. The Catholic Church was a joint effort between the Roman Christian leadership and Constantine. They wanted to unite christianity under one Bishop (Pope) who worked with the Roman Empire, formed under the Council of Nicaea in 325AD. If your beliefs differed from the church, you were labled a Heretic, like me, and bannished. Later Gnostic men, women and children were tortured and burned to the point of genocide.

  • is that a pipe next to the baby wipes or your vibrator

  • What is real?

    This is.

  • You're mind has permitted you to travel down a higher path than most, gogreen18...continue discernment por favor =) ^^

  • My church use this video to explain the world is fake and god is the truth. Too bad I through up my pill.

  • Thumbs up if Laci reminds you of the woman in the red dress.

  • Cutie

  • Matrix teaches us that it is ok to ingest pills offered to us by strangers.

  • i wanna marry this girl

  • you could be my girl..

  • Pretty eyes

  • Dreamworld, is a dream that is able to hurt so real!

  • SHROOMS!!!

  • mind fuked

  • That is the stupidest shit I have ever heard. The matrix is about how smart/dumb and lazy the world is becomeing with technology. It's all science fiction, you never know this could happen in real life if people dont stand up against fashious bullshit.

  • I had to stop the video at 1:50, right when you started talking. You used "begs the question" inappropriately. Begging the question is a logical fallacy where you conclude something that you have already assumed to be true in a premise. You meant to say "raises the question". They are not synonymous.

  • Really, the matrix, in the movie is a different planar dimension that shows what real life is actually like. In our life, it's more so about personal freedom and expression and your choice to participate in oppression.

  • i clicked on this video cuz ur hot but ur talking about some good shit sexy and not a bucket head good job keep it up

  • Laci, I actually had much the same thoughts when I watched "The Matrix" :). If you look throughout the films with a careful eye you'll see sooo much religious imagery and symbolism.

  • Cute video, but The Matrix definitely wasn't about religion, but was about society and the way people are brainwashed into fitting into a system of thought and behavior.

  • @TheDesertFox Religion is a driving force of that society. The society we live in is greatly manipulated by the beliefs people are pushed into holding, or, beliefs that fear tactics thrust upon many people.

  • @TheAlexANGST I agree but in modern society true "religion" isn't necessarily the force behind that. Religion itself barely resembles what it did when it was actually in charge or even a powerful force many decades ago. In America, the driving force is the individualistic material culture that is a complete fabrication, and turns 99% of people into slaves that waste their lives without ever truly realizing who they are.

  • @TheDesertFox Oh yea, I experience that, too. While you have annoying ass televangelists spouting BS from their talk radio stations, you've got ridiculous social trends, like the ever so popular teenage pregnancies. So, I guess, to sum it up, people are throwing their lives away, one way or another. Some of us just have to have their eyes open wide enough to spend the rest of their lives seeing that sickening fact. If there were a way to actually change that, I'd do it...

  • IT'S SO CUTE. SHE'S TRYING TO THINK

  • Interesting... Have you ever considered that there is a blue pill that society uses to convince us that animal killing is justifiable? The images from our childhood of animals "happily" "serving" man? They "give" us their milk... Their eggs... Even their flesh - Culture does not want us to know that nonhumans value their own lives. Nor does culture or "big ag" want us to question the very healthy, practical and compassionate alternatives that exist in a plant based diet. Red pill anyone?

  • @beaelliott i agree with you on some terms. like other animals value their own lives and we should treat them better but without eating meat humans wouldn't be where they are today. it is shown as the earlier human species started to eat more meat and less plants the brain started to develop and we started to get smarter so we need to find a middle ground because we are omnivores not carnivores or herbivores

  • @47thundercats Then, we also didn't use to live behind tv pc screens & drive cars. When we "hunted" then it took nearly all our energy- Our systems needed to hold the food/animal carcass in our bodies a long time. This is not how we eat/live today. We don't (and never did) run an animal down with our hands and teeth, rip it apart and eat everything of that animal (fur, bones, meat, tendons, organs, genitalia) without cooking it.etc. We were scavengers-eating insects & grubs.

  • @47thundercats - We certainly didn't eat 260 pounds of flesh "protein" a year... Or twice that much cheese/milk/dairy... In fact - Odds were we drank from our mothers and then were weaned. See vegsource(dot)com/news/2011/06/early-man-was-not-a-hunter-gatherer-video(dot)html

    youtube(dot)com/watch?v=MkO-4jZs51E

  • @beaelliott ok your right we dont need to eat where near that much meat or dairy products but again we are omnivores which means we eat plants and animals. i get why you are a vegan because my sister was a vegan for many years and is now just a vegiterian but in reality a healthy diet includes "flesh"

  • @47thundercats Hi again... Being omnivore means we "can" eat animals - It says nothing about having to. I hope you research just a bit to see how very healthy a plant based diet really is. The problem is that no long term studies have happened because most funding goes to support a meat/dairy/egg diet... But new evidence in the last few decades has been proven to show that a properly planned vegan diet provides everything our bodies need for health. "Meat" is on the way out with good reason. ;)

  • @beaelliott Being an omnivore means not only that 1 can eat animals but that 1 does eat them.

  • @Strangerinasland Wrong. Biologically, even though I don't eat animal products... My system is still able to digest flesh. Therefore I am an omnivore BUT I choose to eat plant based foods only. See how that works? ;)

  • @beaelliott No, you are mistaken. You do not see how it works.

Words do not mean whatever you want them to mean.

  • @Strangerinasland Biologically I am an omnivore. By choice I am a vegan. Can't get any more precise in fact than that.

  • @Strangerinasland Yet definitions of words are derived from citations gathered around the world, and the context in which they are used. Words don't define themselves, we do. The fact that we have so many languages means there is no universal meaning, everything is created by humans.

  • @47thundercats I've been Vegan for a couple years. A healthy diet is quite possible through as a vegan, it just requires a bit of research. After going vegan, I did have to take some supplements, like Vitamin B12, and I had to buy soy products that were enriched with protein and calcium. The needed nutrients can be synthesized.

  • i belive everithing the she is saying in every vid she has

  • could b wrong but.

  • i understand what your saying, i used to b a christian, but i noticed how much or all wars are fought over religion , so i have a spirituality but i decide to keep it a little vague to others, so im like a liberal christian Buddhist . i think its ok to b comfortable because if you accept that you cant find *the bug answer* and so if you cant find it who cares. at this point motivation is a tease, so be aware but not uncomfortab. also let people belive wat the want, let the be aware that they

  • Chasing the wind. chasing the wind.

  • You're a wacko

  • @gogreen18 What they don't know won't hurt them right? In the first matrix there is a guy who deliberately wants to inject himself back into the matrix with no recollection of ever being outside of it. And then there is Neo and his Prophet Morpheus who want to save humanity based on faith that neo is the one. So who is right, the guy who wanted to get plugged back in to indulge in the luxuries of a fabricated existence? Or Neo who believes he can save humanity based on a quasi religious hunch?

  • @zen699 Save them from existing only to serve as batteries?

  • why are her boobs easier to see then her face.

  • @caperneoignis Because your dick is controlling your mind! Oh no! Release it's power! lol XD

  • The matrix is a combination of religion, main stream media, the education system, and the monetary system. It's designed to keep you mislead, ignorant, and broke.

  • @smartsexyguy2008

I would have to disagree. This movie would cause, probably at least, some people to start questioning their surroundings. For that reason alone, I don't think it's designed to keep people broke, ignorance, and mislead.

  • I believe, instead, it's about feeling comfortable when questioning around you and, too, when your personal point of view in itself is questioned also. It's funny, I just watched another movie recently involving the notion of people living in a simulation called "Cargo", some Norwegian science fiction movie, if my memory serves me correctly. Lately, I've been playing with the idea that we, all of us, could be indeed living in a simulation, and like you've pointed out, I don't think we'd ever knw

  • @smartsexyguy2008 The irony, concidering how mainstream the movie has become...

  • but its the matrix, brah

  • blue pill = conservative; living in denial, a fantasy world

red pill = liberal; accepting reality, searching truth lol..

  • Hmm. ..it's also like inception. Leonardo dicaprio goes into limbo. After a while he believes it's real. Whiles he's comfortable and sees his children and thinks it's okay to stay there. But it is not real. Really in real life he's still just sleeping while his life and kids pass him by. good video!

  • I am not religious, but I must admit that basing your argument solely on religion being the matrix seems very bias. So you said the matrix is an archetype for religion and other believes, that they obtain us from the true reality, yet you never defined what is the true reality. The truth is that what ever we believe in ultimately becomes our reality. Perception is the very act of creation. And for the record reality is a subjective phenomenon not an objective one. You should upgrade.

  • Did anybody else see the vibrator in the back next to the white toaster?

  • Comment removed

  • @ADRIELX4 that is not a toaster is the box she keeps the toy in hehehe

  • @ADRIELX4 I don't think it's a toaster....it looks like a baby wipes box LOL

  • @ADRIELX4 You just see what you want to see, I'm not even sure the big white box actually is a toaster.

  • well first off, the state of moral conduct held by people today is appalling, whether or not religion is the right view, or whether it was created as a control, we must ask ourselves is that control negative. Sure cheating on a test is harmless, but cheating someone out of something, sleeping with someones wife or girlfriend, stealing from someone who may need it more then you, not honoring your family.. these are all small things that over time break down our society, and since people have

  • Plato's Allegory of the Cave

As some have said, it extends much, much further than just religion.

  • This girls smart and the force is strong with her but she looks as scary as a puppy.

  • in this whores case its the morning after pill...

  • i like how she says this is my view, remember guys please dont get offended my these types of videos

  • From what i've seen, I see that it could be infact the idea of drugs such as LSD, which could be rather far fetched idea, but maybe hallucinagenics like this free the mind, uncover the viel of our "reality." How do we know that the human mind is not blocking out more truths. True it sounds very adam and eve vs. tree, but I just thought I'd throw that out there. We could be living in our own personal matrix inside ourselves... (im not giving my personal oppinion btw, or encourging drug use).

  • @lamepeopleforlifex3 The human mind is an incredibly complex set of intermeshing filters. Drugs like LSD, mescaline, psilocybin, etc. change the filters around. There is no reality, only filters. The tough part is defining the filters you live with.

  • /watch?v=L7p5xHD0Bhk Check this out. It's as interesting as fuck.

  • The Matrix metaphor extends further than just religion.

  • Comment removed

  • You don't really know what you're talking about. you're just regurgitating the ideas you were fed by that movie. think about what would happen if 'that systerm' fell. 'That system' is our society. If we just drop it we will be left with nothing. We will be so vulnerable to control by more powerful people. Test your beliefs in YOUR reality. You live in a nice home, you drive a nice car, you are safe, you eat well etc.

  • @ameriCAN3008 We're you listening to the video, ameriCAN3008, or just staring at the woman in the low-cut top? I think that the deceptive system that she's referring to is the religious world view. Are you saying that people snapping out of that and coming to reality would destroy us and leave us "vulnerable to control by more powerful people"? I just don't it, though I do think there are those with indiscriminate, malleable minds who are, and always will be, vulnerable.
