I liked this movie too. A question I have is that is it normal or allowed for someone serving in the US Navy/Forces to bring home a weapon? Is that M1 Garand his navy ceremonial weapon? Or just something he picked up when he was in the navy? I would like to know as I think its awesome that you would be allowed to keep a service weapon.
