  • darn you, friction!

  • thats lil bit like....

but where is the other half stuff...and you can use it to buillt an ufo

to convert energy the technic is a little bit different...but it works

  • Wait, doesn't first grade physics prove that you can't create energy?

  • он не вечный!!!

  • I think the part where it started and then stoped was really interesting

  • The only way perpetual motion machines could work is in space...

  • @b1narycoder I used to think that also. But a friend of mine informed me that gravitational friction is slowing our galaxy.

  • Hmmm... I can see some potential for this design... The spring loaded weights should not be spring loaded... The oscillation might be the thing stopping the wheel. The center of gravity should be shifted in a constant and controlled manner. This design coupled with some hydraulics and sturdy weight supports might just get it to work... Pity I didn't study mechanical engineering.... Sigh

  • @MrChillPhill1 what powers the hydraulics?

  • @bobhatesrainbows Sort of like the gas lifts holding and controlling the descent of the trunk of a hatchback... Guess hydraulics was the wrong word... Just something that would have a controlled effect on the descent of the arms changing the center of gravity on this wheel...

  • @MrChillPhill1 The thing stopping the wheel is physics. Idiot.

  • @jib1000 Well... clearly you have very little understanding of the whole matter... And maybe think twice before you just call me idiot... I'm MR. IDIOT to you buddy...lmao

  • @MrChillPhill1 Yeah, my degree in physics doesn't help me much here does it?

You're the IDIOT who thinks you can build a perpetual motion machine that you ripped off from Da Vinci. Its been around for 400+ years and NO ONE has gotten it to work.

Don't forget that your high school physics class should have taught you why this could never work.

    Imbecile

  • @jib1000 u need a chill pill

  • @picaticatara I need an anti-moron pill to sell to these people with "free energy" or "Gravity wheel" videos in youtube.

  • @jib1000 nah gravity wheels are interesting by their own merits. but anyone who claims they discovered free energy does indeed need some of those pills.

  • @GraveUypo and you know as much as whats going on as an ostrifge head in the sand looking for a way to down not up

  • @frank0067 go ahead and think that if it makes you happy. but know im not the "ostrifge" here.

  • When will people learn that the only way to create perpetual motion is to destroy the entire universe and put in it's place a single spinning object. There thats the only way it can be done. If even a single other object existed any where it's gravity nomater how small would eventually slow it down and stop it.

  • I invented a breakthrough source of energy that contradicts the law of conservation of energy. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena that contradict the law of conservation of energy. I am looking for $6M for a prototype and patents.

  • @henrykay01 Lol at this scammer!

  • @bassl0va You have not even seen my proof that there are phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation.

  • @henrykay01 Even if you do, which IMO is quite unlikely (not calling you stupid, just saying that the laws have never been wrong) it is very unlikely that someone will invest $6 million in it unless there is a 100% chance of return on their investment. What costs that much though? Unless it's something super crazy. If there was anything that was releasable, I would be very interested though, but you probably wouldn't send me anything :-(

  • @bassl0va You can contact me by e-mail (the address is in my contact box) and I will send you a proof that there are electrodynamic phenomena that violate energy conservation - if you are familiar with the Maxwell's equations, you should be able to understand the proof.

  • @henrykay01 If you say so... I'll email you then.

  • Fail

  • Fail

  • its never gonna work, except if it is in a perfect vacuum where friction does not occur, thus there is no loss of energy but that will never gonna happen bec theres no perfect vacuum

  • ummm... are you serious?

theres friction in vacuumes. theres till parts touching eachother are there not? the hub of his contraption has moving and stationary parts which have friction between them

  • A vacuum would eliminate atmospheric effects, but not friction and gravity, which are the things that will keep this kind of machine from EVER working on planet earth. EVERRRRRRRRRR (But they're still kinda cool.)

  • @joblagz Even in a perfect vacuum, friction will still occur on any bearing surfaces. unless you mean air friction. There is a perfect vacuum...........space, beyond earth.

  • The only way to get it to work is to spin it by hand and then only have a 5 second video. That's how all the perpetual devices "work"

  • lol did not work

  • it obviously does not work.

  • The key to making these types of machines work, is by making them offset. A 3 degree offset will help you achieve what you are after. The problem is we are so conditioned from schooling to balance machines - do the opposite (also try an egg shape) ... the 3 degree offset works.. i know... with a slightly different machine thou

  • EPIC FAIL !!!

  • Try spinning it the other way so the weights are on the inside going up and flop to the outside on the down, Then you'll have your leverage motor. Cool just the same. I love stuff like this. G'day

  • Exactly what i was thinking... :)

    Keep on trying!

  • If I put this motor in my car I could save so much in fuel costs by walking to work..

  • @DBT073 lol

  • @DBT073 HA.HA.HAH.AH.HA.HA.HA.H... ME TOO..!

  • @zevn7tp frisky dingo?

  • Looks like your on the right track. The weights should be closer to center when going up, and far out going down, for leverage

  • physics inconsistencies

  • The only valid reason to build ANY kind of "overunity" machine is to illustrate to a 6th grade science class why it is an impossible concept. It is helpful to critical thinking to ask someone to think about and explain exactly why it cannot work .

  • its clearly not a pertepual motion device is it needs something to push it to start with this, that would be putting in energy. to be a true PMD it provides free energy, which cant be done.

Also it stopped so theres a big frickin fault right there!

  • ...The "rules" for perpetual motion machines say that the only legal input of energy can be just a starting push, but after that it must continue without the input of energy. Of course, it still fails to do that.

  • This, is weird.

  • ????????????????????????????

  • hahahaha,......idiot!

  • Wow, nice bearing - you do realize that this is a bearing? You know what a bearing is? Wow, great, a bearing that is not as useful as a ball bearing. Cool. Utterly useless.

  • you should use that in space...

  • what was that? :)

  • you will need over unity to overcome the air resistance in which case this thing should be speeding up not slowing down to a halt.

  • It seems to me that the arms bending toward the middle actually go against allowing it to spin.

  • if you had some really nice bearing and a simple well oiled wheel you can do much better than that, as it looses energy slower.

  • epic fail?

  • alright i know magnets dont contain energy but they have a very strong attraction correct? So couldn't, theoretically speaking, this attraction be used to obtain energy? proof of concept: put magnet below and above table, the magnet below table is held up and resists gravity, doesn't it take some amount of energy for it to resist gravity? I dont know matbe I sound stupid but could someone explain this to me?

  • Energy is different from force. To "extract" energy from a force, you need motion. You can have a force of 1'000'000 N and more, but if is static it won't "work" (think at the weight of your house). For the same reason, a spaceship can have a speed of hundreds of Km/h, but no dissipative forces are acting on it (don't take this literally) and so no energy is gained nor spent. All the magnet motors you will see just swap potential energy with kinetic energy back an forth. Much like a pendulum.

  • so the problem becomes how to transfer force into a useable energy. But this is basically what hydroelectric power is right? Also giant windmill turbines transfer the force from the wind into a spinning motion then to energy, so couldnt the same work with a strong magnet?

  • Yes, the problem is to extract energy from a force or a force field. (aka make the force works). windmills and water turbines extract energy from fluid flows lowering their speed and/or pressure. This is possible because those force fields aren't conservative. Magnetic and gravity fields are conservative: there isn't any way to extract energy from them.

  • Ah, I see now, but isn't energy stored in a magnetic field when the two poles face each other? Couldn't that be extracted somehow? Even if it is the same amount of energy couldnt gravity be used to pull the fields together then extract the energy released? (i dont know if i sound kinda like a douche, but im just trying to play devils advocate, i do thank you for helping me understand this much so far)

  • Sure, that "stored" energy is called potential energy, and you can extract it. That's what a dam-based hydroelectric power plant does: converts the potential energy the water has in form of altitude. but water is "rised" by the energy from the sun. This is what i was talking about in my first answer, all these magnetic motors just "store" and "extract" kinetic energy from the magnetic fields. And if you don't put new energy in these systems, they will eventually stop due to friction.

  • And regarding the use of the gravitational field to put energy in the magnetic field, the potential energy that you would store in the magnetic field would be the same potential energy that you draw from the gravity field due to the lowering of the body. Actually, even less if your body is dip into a fluid like air.

  • i see, i see, so the only real way to obtain any energy from a magnetic (or gravitional) field would be to add energy to it, and even then you would only be able to extract the same amount you put in. That leads basically back to energy cannot be created or destroyed. I dont know, it still seems like a force as powerful as gravity would be able to be used for energy. If it takes 32,399 lb of fuel just to escape earths gravity it just seems like it could be harvested somehow...

  • When you put a rocket or whatever in orbit you are charging it with a tremendous amount of both kinetik and potential energy (and that's what the fuel is used for. the amount however is very dependent to mass/volume). That energy is then returned as heat if the orbiting object returns in the athmosphere.

  • oh, wow, thats so weird, but where would the energy come from if a comet came into the atmosphere?

  • i think u need more weights to make it the transitions smoother. try to make the force at the top greater substancially than the force at the bottom ... man you came up with a really cool idea i hope it works ....

  • LOL!! LMAO!

Shit, a bike tire with it's bearings sprayed with WD-40 will spin longer....

  • OMFG!!! WTF! Are you serious!!? You WILL DIE of OLD AGE before you get it to spin for any significant amount of time... LOL.. This kind of machine is NOT in anyway practical, so GIVE UP retard. It will NEVER spin long enough nor powerful enough for any kind of practical use. You need to understand physics more.

  • Of course the universe itself will die from heat death before such a wheel spins by itself: magnets do not contain energy.

  • HAHAHA! ... aaahhh sheeiit! ... LOL!!!! :D

  • you say magnets do not contain energy you are right but 2 magnets of opposite polarity in the right proximity do ..... a rock does not have energy per say but lift it above your head then it does .... it's not what you see infront of you it's what you can decifer

  • "you say magnets do not contain energy you are right but 2 magnets of opposite polarity in the right proximity do...."

    No, they do not.

  • give up retard? the concept is amazing, maybe it wont power anything, but it is still pretty cool

  • You will eat each of your worlds, that you can ignore the trees, and universe itself.

Do some research, and stop to believe in others, before you test it for yourself over the years.

  • it's by breaking the boundaries that progress is made. Likewise by fearing to go into the unknown will only cause regression and the end of humanity. I agree that what he did was not the right idea. But just because this model doesn't work does not mean the theory can't work. Remember to create something you need to fail.

  • Um, it stops because of friction mainly, but the bouncing effect of the springy weights causes negative vibrations too.

  • Centrifugal force is not a force, it is merely a lack of opposite force.

  • good concept, but it will fail if it spins faster, the centrifugal force will keep them apart... I have in mind something similar! I'll build it this week.

  • ones best lol & rotfl

  • VERY thought provoking. Inspiring endeavor. Thank you for taking the time and physically producing your vision!!! Many stars up! :)

  • Love the effort you are putting into this - excellent work

  • u could try placing magnets all around the outside of the circle and have copper running close to it could probably generate enough electricity to keep the wheel goin plus some. or put spokes in the wheel somehow and have magnets goin up and down copper as the wheel spins gravity will make the magnets move. everwhere that moves can make energy without adding friction.

  • hey da vinci u dont undrstand nothing.

try to put as param in your structure THE GRAVITY!!! that schema is all wrong.

  • you must realize that these types of machines are not high velocity machines; centrifugal force will counter gravity on the weights.

  • Nice!

Yes, i too think that the weigths should "open"/fall only after passing the vertical axis that crosses the axel of the wheel.

Also, i feel that this type of wheels should be made to turn under friction--slow, so that there is not enough innertia built to let the weights "open"/fall prematurely or too late driven by the cetrofugal force.

  • Do you know how it works? I know very well.

Why in the hell do you think this could work clockwise?

This Setup could work only counterclockwise! THe weight must be well fixed untill reach the top. Only after pass the center in the top, they must fall to generate "alavanca".

The weight must get back well fixed when in rest.

And a working device is a future banned, disproved video on youtube... Almost all the time!
