I see everyone always downing someone for using a pick but you guys know that ppl don't just play with picks for speed or they can't use their fingers. They use a pick for a particular sound because it gives more attack in the notes. I myself use fingers 90% of the time but when I play arctic monkeys or even certain songs I play with a pick. A great bass player can use both. FACT!

Not really, its what type of tone you are trying to extract from the bass - Fingers = more smooth tone. Whereas Pick = more sharp and agressive tone.

If you want to strum that fast(its called a tremolo pick) just turn your pick sideways(so the front part of the pick faces away from the pickup) and use your lower arm to almost like bounce up and down the string, then like use the vibration of the string to keep the pick going... sounds complicated but its really easy once u get used to it!

Yeah like i'm not calling him fake or anything, but his body is twitching way too fast and not just his strumming hand.
