mechanical fan put on an electric fan with a switch, cut the sides off the air filter housing put in a k&n filter cut off the exhaust after the cat, cap rotor plugs wires Msd coil. it ran pretty strong much better than when I got it. would fry off first gear grab second gear hard and chirp third would have kept it if it was 4x4...soup that beast up...
To get the best sound on a 300 six apperantly a header is the way to go...Headman's on summit aren't too pricey. and maybe a magnaflow 3 inch cat hooked to what you got now would sound good I bet. I had an 86 f150 with 300 six 4 speed od man tranny 4x2 :( it was the last year for v-belts and 1bbl carbs I souped it up pretty good 3.73 gears, took off the smog pump's belt, took off the

@RM95F150 about 10-12city and around 14-15 highway. keep in mind the tires arent road friendly and and aren't sized for the gearing
