no intention of backbiting, the first thing i look at when a person he/she lectures about islam.. i look at how they carry themselves, they lecture us how to be and follow the sunnah when this muslim bro. wears a rings on the christian ring finger, which is part of the trinity and also, i cant confirm but it looks like gold as well which is haraam. Thus, i dont listen to them nor want to hear the lecture. there intention is good ,but they need to eat there own words..

@Salahuddin07 In Minute 1:39 - 1:40 one can see clearly that the ring is not gold, also it is not forbidden in Islam to wear a ring on the right ring finger. Allahu alam. You should beware of making things haram that are not haram in Islam, for this is what the Jews and the Shia did and I assume you are not like that. Allahu alam.

@UmSumm Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) reports in the chapter pertaining to clothing and adornment (Kitab al-Libas wa’l Zina) in his Sahih from Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: “The ring of the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) was on this”, and he pointed towards the little finger of his left hand. @Salahuddin07 I am impressed and also looked on alifta and islamqa but I could not find any fatwa that says it is haram to wear it on the ring finger, they only say it is sunnah to wear it on the ring finger, which in fact should be enough to be followed. Regarding the lizard's hole, pls read what the scholars said about clothing of kuffar etc. So still no proof from you but jazakhAllah kheir for the hadith.

@UmSumm the christian marriage tradition is to wear a ring on what they call the "ring finger" (between the middle and small finger). There is nothing I've come across in reference of Muhammad(saw) wearing on his "ring finger", there is however a debate over wearing it on the left hand or right hand between scholars. They do agree that wearing it on the smallest finger. It is simply haraam to imitate the jews and christians so why imitate how they wear their rings..

And before you critisize in public and slander someone, first go to that person and ask him why he does so and if you are not convinced then correct him privately - that would be the more correct way in Islam. @Salahuddin07 It can be clearly seen that it is not a wedding ring and that it is not gold. As I stated before, it should be sufficient that it is sunnah, but he might have a reason of which we don't know and you should ask him first before you slander him for slander is haram itself. Also you can find on YT a video where Sheikh al-Fawzan explains how to move the finger in Tahashud and he explains it the Hanbali and not the Sunnah way - so you also slander him now also or what?

Pig rennet is very commonly used in the west, so be very careful to check.

Animal rennet is an extract taken from the lining of the stomach of a new born animal. It is the chemical that helps break down colostrum. In order to make ANY hard cheese you MUST use animal rennet or the cheese will be bitter. If you eat aged cheddar, Romano, Parmesan, or ANY aged cheese then you are eating animal rennet. Plant rennet is used on soft or fresh cheese like mozzarella, Cheve, ricotta, etc. We don't buy Halal simply because we aren't Muslim.

the second opinion which says that it is halal even from non ahlal kitab is strong though.

and what he mentionened in his last sentence is that much cheese is produced with microbial rennet and not from animals.

Yeah, but the problem is that many of the rennet come also from pig stomach. Btw, microbial rennet is not commonly used, it's only sold in special section @ health food store for the strict vegetarian, and it's written on the ingredients. Otherwise, we cannot assume most cheese use microbial rennet.

Yes, especially in the west, many pigs are slaughtered...thus it's easy to get pig stomach everywhere...

go to health food store...and ask for the vegetarian cheese...there aren't many brands, but there are some....where do u live, maybe I can help ?
