Great job man... for the record I love this song so much. The entire soundtrack to the game is fantastic, You should check them out if you like this song so much. Id recommend Celes song, it has a similar feel to it and may inspire you the same way this one did.

I love this song, i started playing piano just beacouse of this song and when i found out i couldnt read notes i startet lessons at 2000NOK per year! no i got a free piano from a guy i dont know who is! the piano was from 1925 so when im 18 the auction trader said he would buy it for 240.000 so thats my ford mustang, im now 14 and learning the song:)

The piano hiatus certainly shows, but it is a great performance. My only complaint would be that the B section is a little overpowered even for what is a 'louder' section by less important notes...could not hear the melody coming through.

I think the tempo is fine, though. The rubato is really what takes it to the next level from the relatively precise timing from the game.

collieollie, I don't know if you will even see this. Practice by breaking it down into sections. Repeat a section until you(essentially) memorize it. Then move onto the next one and add the last one. Repeat until finished. There! You memorized the music, and you can now focus on technique.

I felt the overall mood of the song was lost. The song needs lonliness, depression, persistence.. it needs to be aligned through the desperation of the player's reluctance to keep pounding out the song and it should have an undertone like the person playing it has magical powers but isn't interested in revealing them or drawing attention to himself.
