  • Awesome, simply brilliant, how come this man isn't famous? Well it's probably for the best, keep him underground, doesn't screw him up thanks to some bigshot producer telling him to use more accessible melodies or something. This man is the paragon of blues, keeping it alive!

  • The real emotion gives some space to think....

  • This man and his band are incredible. Every time I listen to his music it brings tears to my eyes. Who ever the one is who said his guitar playing is sloppy can kiss my ass.

  • would somebody tell me if this songs talks about Katrina disaster? I can't find any lyrics.

I really hope it does, since everytime I hear it, I feel moody!

  • Answer: this song has two interwoven themes. One is indeed Hurricane Katrina; the other imagines civil war soldiers who need help.

  • @JoeKess

thanks for your answer. One more reason to visit New Orleans.

Also, i can't seem to find wether the correct title is "THE" or "THEY", do you have a clue?

    Happy new year!

  • Iv listened to my dads records of this guy. Of all the songs iv heard by him, Id say this is his best one he's done.

  • AWesome whatever it is its awesome lol

  • I got goose bumps all over ... I discovered Otis Taylor after watching "Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp. His Song "Ten Million Slaves" appears very early in the morning and gotmy attention. I think that'll give him a lot of well-deserved attention. It's great to see that people like Seasick Steve and Otis Taylor actually can cross over into mainstream success

  • @bluesderek ME TOO!!!!

SAME DISCOVERY! SAME GOOSE BUMPS ALL OVER WITH BOTH SONGS!

  • @svencobaya82 you should try "few feet away", you won't regret it ;)
