  • omg that name! XD

  • olala c'est un tombeur ^^

  • my bird plays black ops :)

  • mine died poor thing its name was fluffy

  • we are totally inhuman!

  • Because the poor fuckin bugger wants out of that cage so much!!!!that he must literally sing for his supper, strange......

  • Tiels rule! Coolest birds

  • deja cette oiseau est une perruche calopsites d'indonesie donc quand on connais pas la race de l'oiseau on ce la ferme les gens

  • poor bird caught in the cage. he certainly wants the freedom

  • these birds remind me of pikachu xD

  • He's got nice big cute eyes.

  • is it bad taht im into cockatiels and that i'm a teen? sorry for misspelling i was typing this awefully fast

  • @AngryGama96 no it's not bad. I got a cockatiel when I was a teen

  • @LikeToGame80 yes but all of these cockatiel videos are from some 40 year old women and to me it feels pretty dang weird

  • Thaa. Thaan. Thank Ya Very Much.

  • he looks so healty, and smart.same like my tiel Chiquitin.

  • he is still alive? because he is so pretty like mine.is very smart,he deserves fresh water every four hours,to avoid bacteria in water.

  • so cute!! my tiel looks just like elvis but i think hes too old to learn any songs or tricks :/ (hes 9)

  • is the bird singing ? nope chuck testa

  • orly?mine perfected that whistle, and has his own happy hour song

  • adorable but sad you keep him in the cage :(

  • he looks just like my jasper. a friend was house sitting and a door to door salesmen knocked on the door an when he opened the door my jasper flew away. it still upsets me so much. i kept almost every feather that has fallen off him since i got him and it reminds me of him so much. i live in south florida and there are some cockatiels that live in the wild from either being let go or escaping. so i hope he is doing fine. i love you jasper and i will leave that millet on the porch every day for u

  • Omahgosh Elvis Cornelius Sargent Major Wingnut Woodidoo Frank N. Furter Pumiluff Lord Saint Oswald Weenie Bean is the cutest name EVAH!!

  • look at this poor lonely bird

  • Why is this cutie pie cockatiel have such a long name and he is so tiny? he was doing so good! He is just so cute!!! <3 Elivs

  • thumbs up if tiels are just the best! :)

  • Ive got an idea! Why don't you guys clip your birds wings? It's simple, easy, free, and painless if you do it right. And that's 4 birds to many to be letting free. That's just cruel. If your birds fly out the window, they could be stuck out there for days in the cold, or heat, being terrified of everything and starving. Shame on you! >:L

  • he has a long name

  • my cockateil looks just like him except for the thin strip of whie at the end of the yellow of his head

  • my tiel talks and whistles too! *Gives high5*

    youtube.com/user/OnWeerosWings?feature=mhee

  • awsome!

  • haha when you did the wolf whistle out of tune i love that he stopped for a second and imitated the tone exactly

  • nice one ,,,, i have a bird like that but she's full yellow with red thinky on her chick i just want want 2 ask u if she can sing like yours ?? thaks

  • Lol!! So stinkin' cute!! x3

  • The only one i feal sorry for when their bird flys away is the bird, if someone's going to have a bird they should train it to return on command, if they can't teach their bird that then they need to clip the lift feathers, yeah yeah, i know, that's terrible, how can i do that, what's better, your bird not be able to fly like it should or starve or be eaten because you like to watch it fly in circles round the living room..

  • @johnevon1 if u clip the wings will they grow again? and i was given a cockatiel by my neighbour about 4weeks ago and i don't think of clipping his wings. These birds were born to fly around freely it's not right to take that freedom of them to fly in the bedroom or living room. My cockatiel hardly flys around the room so no point in clipping him.

  • @dogus194 Yes, they grow back, i'm not a fan of clipping i'm just saying, if a person can't train their bird to return on command they either shouldn't have a bird or need to clip the wings, nothing personl Dogus194 but how can you say it's not right to take their freedom, unless you live in a rainforest and have no windows?

  • @johnevon1 well yeh if you live in a rainforest with no windows then i guess u can clip it if u don't want it to fly out. But if you live in a house for example me i let my bird out all the time and the door/window is closed but he never flys he just sits by the big mirror cleaning his self, singing to his reflection and falling asleep. And about the clipping i was told the wings never grow :/ I wouldn't know how to train him to come back to my hand as i had him for 4weeks. can i add you?

  • i found my bird as well. it was perched on a tree outside my house. it has a tag on its leg, but i havent bothered to check the birth year yet after all these years. one time i stupidly took her outside for some fresh air and she took off. she flew so high up, i had no idea how i was going to get her. i ran back in to the house to get the car keys, but when i came back out my birdy was hanging out in the yard waiting for me (or so i like to think) :)

  • my bird does wolf whistle...

  • cute :x

  • Awww.... He's so sweet! :D

  • he's a ladies man

  • i have got a cockatiel just like that. we always did let it free in the cottage, but when we came back to home, he think that he can be free over there... but every house is so similiar. it was confused.. next day we heard from a old man thet he saw a bird in one beach, we go there...my bird...was brutally killed. the neck was wide open .. and I knew that it was my bird, because its leg was broken twice, and in one legs toe. theres no nail at all :/

  • Really cute, especially the last part ;-)

  • could you please post a video of this bird being decapitated.. is that doable?

  • @howdy0doody what the hell is wrong with you a decapitated bird why would you want that

  • @templar897

who wouldn't want to see a thing like that? the little wings flapping frantically... mmm

  • @howdy0doody ur just sick

  • I love you Elvis!!!

  • Thumbs up simply for the awesome nomenclature. :)

  • My goodness, what a long name! LOL. I sometimes miss having cockatiel. I had one that also did a wolf whistle, said "pretty bird" and would sing half the theme from "The Andy Griffith Show" :)

  • I have a cockatiel that looks just like that his name is Franklin Kevin squakers

  • Oh My God my bird looks just like that one and his name is Elvis too! Only mine sounds deper than that one. What are the oods?

  • Thank God he doesn't need a driver's license or flight license...his name would never fit

  • Cute!!!! We have one that looks just like yours.

  • Cute!!!!

  • What a sweetheart!! Your little birdie is too cute!

  • LMAO and here I thought MY cockatiel Beausse MiJack von Støjberg (last name meaning Noisy-Hill) had a looooooooooooong and kindda crazy name...can't stop laughing...

  • All that wolf-whistling is gonna get that boid in trouble one day. Some ladybird's gonna take offence at that and scratch him one good, right across the eye. Bam!

  • Elvis Cornelius Sargent Major Wingnut Woodidoo Frank N. Furter Pumiluff Lord Saint Oswald Weenie Bean LOL

  • I love this little birdy's there so funy, and hey dude that's cool ;)

  • o what a sweetie! Cockateils have such fun personalities. I've always imagined my birds' ad in the singles column: Good looking & charming. Loud, demanding & dirty. Btw I'm not old, just moulting. Call me.

  • I had a cockatiel just like this that flew out the window and we tried so hard to catch him but he would fly from tree to tree, he was so startled ... poor fella. This was years ago in Concord, Ca :( he flew pretty far and the next few days we still heard him, then he stopped. We thought a cat caught him :(

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 I've also had a cockatiel escape, it's really awful, and it's so cold in the UK if they dont get caught by cats, mobbed by other birds, or starve, they more then likely freeze :( Although we managed to catch Elvis, there has been another 4 escaped cockatiels we've seen in our garden since - they've always only hung around for a few hours though before moving on.

  • My sisters looks just like that as well. He had escaped from someone and one day while i was on break at work he tried crash landing on my sister. We put up found signs and such but noone ever claimed him. He's now family I dont know what my dog would do with out him they're best friends.

  • @Bexby same here my cockatiel got out of the cage twice whie it was outside but luckily the first time it attracted my moms flowers so it didnt fly and i was able to lure it bac in its cage...the second time i came home super late and no brought my bird in so i went to catch finding it out of the cage but i guess it was too dark and it probably felt lost so it stayed in on a nearby shelf and i was able to put it back in its cage

  • @Bexby

Hey, I know the chances are highly unlikely, but I could have had one of you guys' cockatiels cuz mine was caught wild! xD

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 I know how terrible that can be :(. A few years ago I lost my 2 tiels and 3 budgies at the same time. Their cages somehow got knocked off the outside table and they flew away. 2 of them hung around for a few days but then left. I now have 2 different tiels and they're lovely. Nadia and Booboo.(:

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 Oh my gosh i live in Concord, CA too and years ago we found a cockatiel on our front lawn and decided to take him in for a while and try to find the owner... we put up signs around our neighborhood but no one got back to us... then one day he flew away from us too and we heard him singing for a while in a house down the street... do u think i may have found the same bird you had?

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 yu do now u can clipp there wings so they cany fly

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 Mine flew out too. The house feels soo empty.

He wanted to come back so much, but he was too scared/dumb to lower altitude when throwing himself toward me.

A total nightmare, running for him, but failed to bring him home when he was so close. Then days of searching without hearing him ever again.

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 I had the same thing happen to my cockatiel but a hose was near by and we sprayed him down from the tree. I was so relieved but shocked.

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 We;ve lost a few birds too. D'= I cried. Anyway we lost one bright blue parakeet in New York. A woman found and caught a less bright, blue parakeet close to us. And they do get less bright when the molt. It was kinda amazing. We also lost a green I think one and my mom overheard a man in the pet store who lived like twenty minutes from us asking all about what he should get to keep a parakeet he found, near frozen is his neighborhood. Described him JUST like my bird.

  • @Byebubble He was so happy though, and seemed REALLY excited to have a new bird, my mom figured he must be a very good home, and couldn't bear to tell him he was ours.

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 yeh i lost my COCO as well i was mortified. Just aquired a new one though

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 Just an hour ago my bird flew out the window and i spent a lot of time in the front looking for her i was crying like an idiot and everyone was looking at me i miss her so much even though it was 2 hours ago i just want her back but i know she will never come home. Now i just have my male cockatiel

I LOVE YOU MY BIRDY where ever you are

  • @BritMJFanAlways Did you ever find your bird that escaped? One way that I got a parakeet back once was to bring his cage outside with the other bird in it. He started chirping for the escaped one, and he flew back to his cage. I don't imagine this trick would always work, but it's good to know should it ever happen to someone else.

  • @recyclecongress

Nas its been like 2 months now and she still never came back i tried that :C i miss her still she had become my wallpaper on my phone

  • @BrazilianGoddess91 mmmmmmmmm. Cockatiel soup...

  • gorgeous bird :)

  • he looks exactly like my bird pecky...ah memories

  • @xbo0oyx Lol, how can a bird look too old? We caught him from our garden, so we don't know how old he is - he could be in his 20s for all we know. And this video was taken years ago, and he's still going, happy and healthy.

  • @Bexby Haha, how did you ... catch him? I guess that is a silly question, but I'm not used to cockatiels flying around my garden. My bird is 26!

  • @Bexby my bird looks just like him. what an adorable little bird! i wish him a happy, healthy life!

  • @Bexby wait you found him in your garden?that means he belonged to someone else?

  • @Bigrobowski10 We tried to find the original owner by putting out flyers and informing the council and local pet shops, but no one claimed him :)

  • @Bexby oooh ok lol i was going to say that would be sad for the owner who lost him thinking he was probably dead or something..well im glad you found him.bless the little guy he seems so sweet.i have 2 cockatiels myself and i love 'em like they're my kid

  • @Bexby

That happened to my dad too! He was playing tennis and this bird kept swooping down and hitting him on the head! Luckily we've had cockatiels before so my dad talked to the bird and then carried him home. The poor little guy was just scared and hungry! We've had him for many years now! I love him to death! He can say "pretty bird" and he likes to explore. Cockatiels are the greatest!

  • @Bexby thank you for saving this intelligent fella! my hat goes off to ya! :)

  • @Bexby it's quiet hard to find out which cockatiel is yours as they all look the same! :o

  • @Bexby i miss my bird. I hope he is safe in someone elses house just like elvis is :D In fact, in my heart Im sure he is *sheds a little tear* But my new Tiel ghost loves me and loves listening to Elvis and the other youtube birds prattle away :D

  • @Bexby we caught 1 2 we put adds in the paper but nothing came up i <3 my cockatiel he is the nicest bird in the world. i feel bad for his old owner but he luvs us now !

  • Elvis is so cute. I wish my budgie could sing like that :)

    Nick

  • his so cute like my budgie

  • haha my two cockatiels love elvis

  • Cuute :)

  • My is the sameeeeee:=)))

  • i love this parrot :$

  • He is gorgeous. Normally when tiels sing it is really loud and piercing, but he is so quiet, such a melancholy tone too. Makes me sad. My cockatiel doesnt sing at all, which is a good thing, right?

  • Hmm, My Cockatiel was known as Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser third

  • i hate how my cockatails fuckin chirp all the time i wanna kill them -_-

  • @shannah0421 ONLY IF I CAN KILL YOU AFTER <3

  • I read his full name and you had me at Frank N. Furter. Could you teach him how to sing "Sweet Transvestite?"

  • @ExplosiveDonuts No, I don't think so - I think they live in large family groups, so they're definately no solitary. I'm not sure how they would react to a stranger cockatield though. Like most animals, I'd assume they'd just chase the stranger away...

  • @Bexby

They live in flocks of hundreds. But just like people, not every couple gets along. Plus, companion birds typically pick one person who will be it's chosen person or "mate". So when this new cockatiel enters, they could develop jealousy.

  • Wow. What a name lol!

  • amazing!! :D

  • My two cockatiels are sitting on my shoulder- They love Elivis.

  • My bird (it's not actually my bird. It's lived for about 20 years and I'm not even that old yet o.o and it's a cockatiel, too) does the same thing at 0:47 and only does it towards the girls and he is a male lol. So every time I pass him by after taking a shower with a towel on he always does that lol. His name is Rolly :P

  • Yea, I don't see ANYTHING wrong with his Eye! He's a cutie! <3

  • Talented whistler you have there. I've had my cockatiel for less than 2 months, but he/she only makes a shrieking whistle in the morning when I come into the room, which is his "I miss you Daddy, get me outa this cage!" call. Haven't seen much musical tendencies yet, but he's barely five months old.

  • do you know why he do that?He search a wife.If u want to buy a wife for him take a ssecond cage to give time to learn she....

  • @kasach6511 I know it's best to have mutiple cockatiels, but he did used to have a friend, and they kept on fighting - the second one had to be rehomed, and he's actually a lot happier now.

  • @Bexby LOL same with my bird mine is called Kracker

  • @Bexby my parakeets name is elvis to he is a budgie

  • @kasach6511 A wife? You want there to be a wedding? That would be cute.

  • @kasach6511 - aaah so lonely! They call when sad and lonely. :-(

  • aww <=)

  • It sounds like chemist's :D But no matter your bird is awesome :)

  • /watch?v=qAyWD26z9kY

  • he's so cute! cockatiels are the best and sweetest birds i've ever seen! <3

  • what happened to his left eye

  • @muchadoaboutnothingg nothing wrong with it lol! Well, not that I know of lol

  • @Bexby hes/shes saying the left eye looks way bigger than the other one! its not nice to say 'lol' in that scentence! :(

  • @mermagica192117 It must be my camera, or the angle of the camera, but I promise you, his eye is fine - this video is 3 years old, and he's still with us, and in perfect health ;)

  • @Bexby oh-sorry! i just have cockatiels(jojo and daisy),and i care about those birds alot now! i love cockatiels

  • @muchadoaboutnothingg They often do it to rest it ;)

  • @muchadoaboutnothingg lol it just the lighting

  • haha love the names! we call our pets a zillion names too. our cockatiel pepper gets called conny, dawnly-anne, corinthian crack, corianthi aha! i love your bird he is so clever and cute :)

  • I wuv dis bird, he can bite me any time lol, ok, that was a bit odd, but I have a cat that bite's me, but he love's me lol.

  • aww my cockatiel's name is also Elvis

  • My cockatiel Pizza loves him! I´ve played this video like 3 times and Pizza can´t get enough.

  • @betabite89 hahaha pizza! Now THAT is an awesome name!!

  • Ahh he is a real sweetie! We've just adopted a adult cockatiel had him a few weeks but he's extremely frighted and nervous, hope he becomes as friendly as yours. do you have any tips? :)

  • He's really not as friendly as he looks lol - he's not tame at all haha! He's ok when he's in the cage, but when he comes out, he gets really scared. It's probably best to slowly start poking some food through the bars of the cage until he is confident to come over and take it. Other then that, just give him time :D

  • @xProjectPoniesx feed the bird *w* they get attatched to food O_o

  • @xProjectPoniesx Just spend a lot of time with them, the way I tamed my bird was by putting his cage in my room when I was doing homework or something and opening up all the roof and doors and leaving food outside the cage so he'd eventually come out. Mind you I got him already half tame, just took the warming up to me bit.

Basically just spend a lot of time with your bird, talk to them/whistle to them and stuff, and once your able to pat them then pat them all the time makes them really calm.

  • @xProjectPoniesx a great site to check out is (I dont think its letting me post the actual address, so just type it out like a normal online address) "birdsnways, com" and then select "tiel talk forum"..

  • @xProjectPoniesx ...cont'd --Its a really cool place to chat about your 'tiel and ask any questions you have..The ppl there are very smart are really nice, and will give you awesome advice..and its an all over nice place to be :)

  • Elvis Cornelius Sargent Major Wingnut Woodidoo Frank N. Furter Pumiluff Lord Saint Oswald Weenie Bean

  • Hehe, I wasn't crying, just squealing with joy :D I was about 12 when I recorded this video.

  • What a name..: Elvis Cornelius Sargent Major Wingnut Woodidoo Frank N. Furter Pumiluff Lord Saint Oswald Weenie Bean

    So cute

  • @Preci0usBaby

My bird's name is Medusa Booger Dusty Musty Muffin Mondesando LOL

  • 1:03

I have no idea what he does there but it sounds like he's laughing or something.

God I wish I had a pet like this again, I used to have a whole bunch of them but me being young and just entering puberty lost interest in the little critters. A few months later I came back from school and walked straight up to where the cage used to be and was about to greet my friends when I, naturally, found out they weren't there anymore. Sad. :(

One day I'll pick one up again!

  • @Stonezorz

But why did you lose interest?

  • I was growing up, just got into a new school and a whole new world of responsibility opened up to me at that time. I had so many others things to do all of a sudden and the bird wasn't on the mainstage anymore.

    Simply sad. :(

  • Sorry to hear that. But It's never too late again! :)

  • Super man to the Rescue!

  • wow long name:P but cute bird:D

  • LOL he sounds like a rooster crowing

  • Comment removed

  • @PikminPie890 i bet if you did get a bird, the first time the bird bites their tail, the cats would never go back towards it again.

  • Comment removed

  • EEEEH i know how you feel! I only have one... but he can take down a dog... its bad, my cat would eat my bird if i ever had one... but i lovee garfield! =D.....

  • LOL at 0:36 xDDDD
