You tell your story in a way that doesn't condemn other women for the choices they have made in similar situations, but which instead portrays compassion and empathy for others, and presents an alternative.
I used to support this group (I still have one of their bumper stickers on my car) until they supported Sarah Palin. Alaska has one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the country, and as mayor of Wasilla, Palin made rape victims pay for their own exams. I feel gypped that I ever gave this organization money, they are NOT pro woman!

I commend her for having the COURAGE to overcome the immense pressure and expectation society puts on females to abort in general;
to ALSO withstand the even greater expectation to abort a baby that might have been conceived by rape is even more commendable! It's time for the anti-choice assumption that 'of course' a woman pregnant after rape would 'want to' abort to stop. It's also time for the outdated and false notion that such babies only have one parent - the rapist - to stop too.
